Have you purchased your Godwins two-pack figures for 120 USD (plus tax and shipping)?

Don’t you want to support the toy business?

AI slop in the middle KWAB
>>
They've got a lot of expenses:
>Molds need designed
>Figures need painted
>Packaging needs designed
>Figures have to be shipped overseas
>The wrestlers have to be paid for their likenesses
>They have to pay for the payment processor
>They have to host the site somewhere
>They also have to pay for packaging to send the figures safely

All for niche figures that won't have a ton of sales.
>>
>>19447218
thats too much articulation, I bet the figures have a hard time even standing
>>
>>19447275
this, the more articulated, the more molds need to be created, being a small run on top of that makes it more expensive, it's why the big rubber guys and hasbro types are around $50 a piece, it's crazy to normies, but Mattel is never making a Oz Nash, Max Moon, Luna Vachon, Santa Claus, Brian Pillman with a gun, or TL Hopper packed with a turd he can hold on to
>>
>>19447218
Uh, doesn't WWE own those gimmicks?
>>
>>19447530
don’t worry about it pal

>Collectibles for adults
>They don't even have the tattoos

Low quality, what collector would buy these
>>
>>19447218
>$120 for two toys that look like bootlegs right down to the cheap-ass blister card
Jesus. Imagine the kind of subhuman who'd actually buy this.

It’s called an investment, chud

What the fuck man, didn't these used to be like $10? Who the fuck is paying $120 for wrestling toys?
>>
>>19447218
I wasn't going to but they lowered the price to like $80 with free shipping. $40 a pop is about what you'd pay for an elite online anyway. A little more but these aren't mass produced on that scale and might be the only shot there is at the Godwinns in this type of style
>>

Holy shit he looks awful. That looks like Drew McIntyre

On their own they don't come across that great but together with other actual figures they surprisingly hold up
>>

No they don't. Their shitty head sculpts and cheap painted faces stand out like a sore thumb.

I mean yeah. Zero argument on that. If WWE ever makes them I'd replace these in a heartbeat. Best that's out there at the moment though
>>
>>19447218
There is no way some shaped and colored plastic is actually worth $120. Do fig collectors really?
>>
>>19447965
Some pictures on pieces of cardboard are worth millions.

I agree that it's a bit much but The Godwinn's have only had one official release. This run will be limited and 20-30 years from now when these figures are more rare, there is potential to get a lot more money back than what you paid. You can also probably still get these figures signed which will no doubt increase their value someday.
>>
>>19448114
>but The Godwinn's have only had one official release
Which were shitty BCAs over 25 years ago at that. I don't know how these guys haven't gotten under legends deal being Undertaker's boy
>>
>>19447218
>>19447965
Oh, they're actually only $80 now. Still not for me. Only wrestling fig I own is the recent Hulk LJN re-release and the base price was only $25. Though I understand it had the direct support of WWE/is a WWE product so they can mass produce them and price them lower.
>>

>Some pictures on pieces of cardboard are worth millions.
Like what? Are you alluding to rare comic books? Because those I can understand.
I guess if you look at it as an investment it might be worth getting, but I just like to collect things for the joy of owning them myself without having the intention of selling it in the future.
>>
>>19448162
>Like what?
I'm guessing they're referring to trading cards
>>
>>19448162
I collect Attitude Era names. Started out with a few WWE ultimates and elites and it's spiraled kek. The Godwinns don't exist in that form of figure. This is the best that exists at this point. That's why I've ordered them. Not for any sort of future plan to sell them or stupid shit like that
>>
>>19448114
>have only had one official release
Yeah, you fucking autistic freak because it’s the fucking Godwins. Nobody has cared about them in 30 years and it’s a stretch to say anybody cared then.
>>
>>19448184
Oh. Maybe. That is crazy too how high rare trading cards can go for but for his sake I am not really talking about rare collectibles, just the base price of new action figures.
>>19448200
Ok, fair enough. I don't know much about the wrestling action figure market but if there aren't other figures out of them I can understand the interest in these figures.
>>
>>19448226
It's tough. They have to find names people know that nobody owns the trademark to. They also have to find names that don't have a million releases already (or find ways to customize their version of it). Then they have to get the wrestlers to agree to give up their likenesses for reasonable prices, which not everyone wants to do. There's a whole lot of bullshit involved I imagine for limited gains.
>>
>>19448374
they wouldn't "have" to do any of this if autistic freak losers didn't buy toys in their 40s. Jesus Zack.
