It's funny how absolutely nobody bothered to read what she actually wrote. She isn't retiring because of the illness (she's almost certainly fully recovered from it), she's retiring because while she was absent she went through some self-reflection and decided that she didn't want to continue wrestling. Other players have talked about going through this exact thing while they were out so it's not unprecedented. I'd imagine every wrestler goes through it when they have to take time off for something. I'm sure she's aware that she just isn't good at wrestling even at a basic level and wasn't improving at all (if anything she was regressing). Being lapped by her peers and even her juniors must've crushed her spirit too.
