I didn’t see a thread so I figured I’d start us off.

I’d also like to ask the guy who made the last thread where he got all of the dates and times for the shows.

Very excited for tonight’s episode.

WOOP WOOP
>>
These threads should be moved to /b/ with the rest of the clowns.
>>
>>19459426
WOOP WOOP! glad to see the initiative, fellow juggalo. I'm not the guy who usually makes the gamethreads, but that guy will likely be making a gamethread around 8 (that's what he said yesterday, anyway). If not, we can always just use this one.
>>
>>19459435
You’re on a board where posters frequently joke about interracial gang rape. We’re all clowns here bro.

fuck off, we have as much right to make a thread as you do. I love how you corporate fans want to shame me and my homies for making a few indie threads here and there, and meanwhile yall spend every day spamming dimeless rehashed WWE and AEW trash threads by the dozens. oh, but we're doing something wrong by making a few gamethreads lol.

You're not wrong but

Damn right, all hail the ICP and based Russo, the saviors of professional wrestling.
>>
>>19459426
WOOP WOOP
>>
Why is russo talking about hhh?
Nobody cares about him except for marks who fell personally attacked by his booking.
>>
>>19459426
Vince Russo is doing everything FOR THE JUGGALOS
>>
Thought’s on Russo’s comments? Some truth to it, don’t know about the Karrion Kross thing though. HHH knew Kross was gonna be a bigger star than him? Yeah right, lol. I think Russo is just playing to Kross’ ego.
>>
>>19459567
because HHH is not a good booker, man. I'm sorry but he just isn't. I'm willing to acknowledge that HHH doesn't have full creative control so maybe we aren't seeing his full ability, but his storytelling style is slow, boring, and extremely cliche.
>>

>>
Russo is getting himself over real hard with me, the anti-corporate thing, ripping on heyman and haitch, it's all kino. JCW is in good hands.
>>
>>19459711
no that's GCW, they're enemies. No other promotion EVER treated Sabu as good as JCW. This is actually the promotion where Sabu had his first retirement match.

Then why would anyone want to be associated with him? And what does JCW have to do with WWE?
>>
Kerry and Storm again? This is a great match but this is the third week in a row we've seen these two. hope there's some long term purpose in it.
>>
>>19459731
Ah my bad. Thanks for the clarification. No one cares about my TNA thread lmao so I might just hang with you guys. It's on YouTube right?
>>
>>19459736
I'm not really trying to hate on HHH, I liked him as a wrestler but I don't care for his booking style. what i do hate are the people that HHH works for. JCW has no association with WWE or AEW afaik.

yeah i love the colorful set design, gives everything a comfy cartoon feel

>>
>>19459795
now you see why a few of us have been trying to get people to watch lunacy? this shit is legit good, and with Russo on board JCW is finally grabbing some attention. these guys have been quietly delivering all kinds of KINO for like 25 years but the "wrestling media" never gave them any love at all. Now that Russo's on board they have finally been forced to acknowledge JCW.
>>

that's Konley's valet, her name is "Ring Rat". and yeah she's got ass for days.

yeah he's a great underdog guy, he usually teams with cokane. if you don't know about him he's a kane parody who constantly snorts cocaine and never talks. cokane used to wear a costume that was very similar to OG kane but I think WWE threatened to sue so they had to change it.

glad you decided to give it a chance. this and powerrr are the two wrestling shows I'm enjoying the most lately. there's a few others I catch from time to time but those two are the best right now imo.

I need to catch up on Powerrr, I love that both of these shows are free. Insane compared to the product you get behind five paywalls, and I watch WWE pretty fanatically
>>
>>19459830
I like her; I think she has a lot of potential. I know she's a wrestler too, so I'm looking forward to seeing how her storyline develops. I'm just wondering if she'll be booked as a heel. Nobody likes a Yoko so.
>>19459860
Carnies were right about wrestling. Certain themes are universally enjoyable. It's no wonder why a sanitized, corporate-approved, safe for investors version of the wrestling is so lame and boring.
>>
>>19460036
Beautiful. Thanks, anon. Gotta go to bed, getting up early to buy face paint. That was fun, I'm gonna start there tomorrow. Night bros WOOP WOOP
>>
>>19460049
Powerrr has been getting a lot better lately, I think Billy is finally hitting his stride. the storytelling aspect has been upped tremendously in the last few episodes and they do have some very talented people these days. I think Billy made a great call by bringing back the territory system because it's serving as a great developmental system, almost like an indie equivalent of NXT.

Crazy how, with a good commentator and fun promos, you can make it seem like we’re watching top-level stuff
>>
>>19460054
yeah ring rat is already a hilarious character and that's a great start. she wouldn't even have to be all that great in the ring, just go out there and do some slutty comedy shit and that will work lol. it's good to see a female wrestler who is willing to play a fun gimmick like that.
>>
>>19460075
Well, I think a wrestling show is meant to be a complete package. If the overall product is good, it's easy to overlook little flaws.

Russo hates the pompous arrogance of HHH and is insulted when they say they write storylines a year in advance.
>>
>>19459426
Bro I watched the last 3 episodes and I was so fucking into this shit, but did Russo seriously open up the show with a worked shoot promo about triple gay of all people????

Russo.... I love you but WTF are you doing??? STOP, JUST FUCKING STOP PUTTING YOURSELF OVER ON CAMERA WITH YOUR STUPID WORKED SHOOTS! JUST WRITE THE SHOW AND STAY IN THE BACK! WHAT THE FUCK?
>>
>>19462489
he just can't help it. redpill is that russo is based. blackpill is that he comes with great ideas but is obsessed with rewriting his legacy and being a character on a show he writes. the meta/worked shoot thing has always been part of his writing tropes.

>>19462489
I do agree his last two opening promos were kind of ass but, quite frankly, I do enjoy his character on the show. Not only does it make sense for him to be a part of it (remember, since his involvement was announced, twice as many people are watching JCW) but I geniunely enjoy him trolling the shit out of marks by leaning into his most criticized booking tropes (making himself a main caracter, sexualizing women, pole matches, etc.)
>>
>>19459426
Russo just had a live with the Ring rat and apparently she had a bad accident at Rikishi's school and has activated some syndrome where she's in horrible pain at all times and is getting studied by medics and shit cause she's a medical miracle.
>>
>>19463651
I hope Rikishi taught her the stink face
>>
>>19463628
Agreed, he should have kept it as short the "clown in Connecticut" was just right but he kept going on and on about triple h but I do understand he is trying to draw attention by attacking WWE/hunter he should be short and subtle

>>
>>19462489
This might sound like cope but I'm beginning to suspect that Russo is writing his character as a stereotype of himself from the IWC. Toothless worked shoot promos, putting himself as the establishment right away, the pole match, the bra and panties match- all in one show? There has to be something more going on here. The swerve with the bra and panties stip has me guessing.
>>
>>19464770
I think it's kinda cool that he looks like nothing but a short little fat guy only to amaze you once he gets going.
>>
>>19464784
oh he's definitely doing that. all those things you mentioned point in that direction. I think he's absolutely trying to play to the perceptions that people have about him, which is probably a good move. he always did like that worked shoot stuff to an insane degree.
>>
I love the skitzos Russo brings out
>>
>>19464883
I just watched cornette's video about russo joining JCW and i'm sorry to say he's full of shit. he literally didn't even know the name of the show. but of course he's going to shit on anything involving russo so that was expected.
>>
>>19459787

>>19467355
It's pretty much on the same pace to 35k in a week, if it keeps getting good they'll slowly climb to 50k which is a nice bump. Only network suits would expect 10 times the viewers in a month
>>
>>19469226
Apparently it's also streamed on Facebook where they get 50k'ish views, Violent J told this to Russo
>>
>>19469226

I love to see it. This has been the best week of wrestling personally I can remember in a long time. That Lunacy show a large part. Sure tonight is the big one but all week everyone seemed to put on their best. I love wrestling so much. It seems like the spirit of thuganomics has permieted the entire atmosphere
>>
>>19468970
some examples
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_YGWZr7Fq4 from last week at 46:08 they had added cheers for Steven Flowe and then at 47:15 and 47:35 for Cocaine

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxVt-PfXCzw Matt Cross had added boos this week, from 30:00
>>
>>19469850
That's actually more attention to detail than I expected for a fed like JCW. It's refreshing to tune in to a wrestling show and actually cheer the faces and boo the heels organically- because of the story. In other feds I often found myself cheering for the heels because the faces were boring, and there was no storyline anyway
>>
>>19469850
I'm not sure about that. I've been to a couple JCW shows and the crowds are generally very into it. they cheer and boo very loudly and generally keep kayfabe by always cheering the faces and booing the heels. I made one exception though because there was no way I could ever boo Kerry Morton.
>>
>>19467355
I checked the first 3 but I'm already done with the worked shoot stuff and Russo holding the mic.

I loved Vito but they butchered his character. Steven Flow looks like a meth addict, Cokane is interesting but lacks size. The two babyface fat fucks and the two heel fat fucks are just OLD and there. The Morton kid is doing his best and the only light in an ocean of outlaw shit. He gets it.

Also all the roster is mogged by Violent fucking J when it comes to literally anything. What the fuck.
>>
>>19470359
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sn9kPSkv6A
they add crowd noise dude, skip to 1:35 in this - it's totally canned crowd noise for Cocaine entering the building, they even added whoop whoops and then it fades into the actual crowd noise

You probably liked it a lot more when he was wearing a dress in WWE. Gangsta Vito is literally his best version.
