>>19464873The entire movie is intended to be camp because the people making it (directors, producers, etc.) hate video games and think they're shitty low class entertainment. So they think that leaning into being cheesy and trying to intentionally make a so bad it's good type of movie is the only way to make it work, ignoring that you can't intentionally make a so bad it's good movie. Not that a Street Fighter movie would be good if they did it seriously either. Not every fucking thing needs a movie.
