ITT: moves you really like that don't get used as much anymore>Wrestler puts their opponent at the edge of the ring with their head hanging over the edge. >hits then with an elbow drop on their throat like a guillotine.
I've never seen this move before or since, but I want to.
>>19467027kino move
>>19467161Tiger Edge 92
>>19467161razors edge but you try to kill your opponent kek
>>19467173>youtube and google both turn up literal nothing when searching for thisIs the clip I posted the second time anyone's done it, or what?
>>19467161
>>19467161Like if Hacksaw wasn't a based retard and was just a retard
>>19467161this would actually be a based finisher if a dimes wrestler used it. super dangerous though.
>>19467027A good punch
>>19467027Does anybody in WWE/AEW still do a bronco buster? I remember those always getting big reactions when people used them in the past.
>>19467027Float-over DDTJerry Lawler-esque punches
>>19467181huh what you mean
>>19467247the punching is bad but if the whole match is "good" punches like it used to be it would look retarded today. we need a happy medium
I CANT STOP LAUGHING CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAPI CANT STOP JEJEHEHEHEHEHEHEH CLAP
I don't know what you call it but the headlock takeover where they put their opponent in a headlock and then give them a judo style flip to put them on their back.
Vertebreaker
>>19467161Pussy put his hands up
>>19467027>thez press>manager attacks downed wrestler while the refs back is turned>matches that look like a struggle and not obvious rehearsed fake and gay cooperative spotfests
>>19467494This? Literally just called a headlock takeover
>>19467027I love a good lariat off the ropes. Especially if the person taking it knows how to sell it.JBL's clothesline from hell always popped me for just how vicious he made it look
>>19467027When one wrestler runs the ropes and the other wrestler drops down to trip them, how often does the runner actually trip? Ricky Starks/Saints is the only modern wrestler I can remember seeing actually take the fall on that spot.Another one you hear a lot from wrestlers is how the back body drop setup is always countered now, so a lot of modern fans don't even understand the purpose and get confused, they just think one wrestler is bending forward to get kicked in the face for no reason. It (inadvertently?) became a signature spot of AJ Styles over the years because he'll actually take the move.

>>19467027I don't remember the last time I saw an Alabama Slam on TV. However I do know that many wrestlers cited it as one of the worst moves to take because it never fails to knock the wind out of you for a good stretch of time, which probably fucks up your match.
>>19467027I liked when Ambrose did the face rake against the top rope. I am glad the industry respects the Running Bo-Dog enough to not use it.
>>19469092That just reminded me, I really miss Faarooq's style of spinebuster, where instead of falling down with them you just kind of push them down with your hand while you stay standing. I'm surprised no one's picked that up, since.
>>19469092I've seen Cody use it a few times since coming back
slingshot suplex
>>19469130Yeah Cody has this thing where he sporadically uses his tag team partners' signature moves, including based Sparky Plugg's alabama slam. I can't remember if he borrowed any moves from Sandow and McIntyre however.
>>19467973Literally my favourite finisher of all time and it’s not even closeEven better when it’s a flippy guy taking it who literally backflips mid air on the sell
>>19469249He stole his entire career from what should’ve been ted dibiase jrs
>>19469315Name one good Ted match
>>19467271I swear I've seen some women in NXT do it recently, but they just hit it once instead of bouncing multiple times
