Taker had the longass entrance, the urn, the lightning, etc. NWO had long ass entrances with pointing. Edge had his pose with the fireworks then flash photography promo gimmick with Christian, Batista would do his thing, Lesnar would stop and do his little hop and kick same as Goldberg had his thing and the piped in chants. Even NJPW and other Japanese companies did these like Onita and Chono. This isn't new, there are just a shitload more people over and at the top of the card now as opposed to Vince having 1 main guy and maybe 2 sub guys
