Walk the King's Road anon, and that is Inoki's antithesis. Strong Style ended up becoming the Jannetty as most nujamals wrestle like kobashi and misawa (saw).

why?

Inoki vs Muta '94

There is a story. Choshu and Tenryu were having a tag match with Muto and Chono. Right after the match started, Tenryu threw Muto out of the ring, grabbed a mic, and shouted
>COME ON OUT, MUTA
Muto then left the ring and went backstage. Chono then was forced to have a handicap match with Choshu and Tenryu. After some time, Muta finally appeared, wearing the Muta outfit. The crowd popped like schizos here. He then dominated the match, but Choshu finished off Chono with his Riki Lariat, so Muta lost it and started beating everyone up with an object and misting their faces. Inoki came out after witnessing the chaos happening, stared at Muta. Muta knelt on one knee and kept closing on Inoki. When he was very close to him, he misted him all of a sudden. A few days later, this match was announced, and Inoki said this would be the first event in the road to his retirement, which lasted 4 years.

When I say stories I meant WWF style. This is too basic

That's only true in the dimeless AJPW, the GayEW of its time. NJPW always had stories, promos and angles, even back in the 70s.

Mid 90s to early 2000s NJPW had backstage drama and VTRs similar to WCW and WWF.

they are the apex of determination, discipline, craftsmanship, and having a genuinely strong connection to your work, your coworkers, and people at large (in this case, an audience). these guys sacrificed their lives to represent a visceral form of the will to live, and they really were some of the very best wrestlers ever, not just because they were taking crazy bumps on a regular basis, but how artful and graceful they were with all the little details that unfold throughout their matches across the years, they always perfectly communicated whatever was at stake to both the immediate crowd and the people at home by leaping through the language and culture barriers. that's why empty shitposts like this >>19470412 are fairly retarded.
and much like the best of theater, this stuff leaves me with a lingering bittersweet feeling, because while i'm marking out with my heart over what they're doing, i haven't really absorbed it to the point where it translated into my life. i can't say i've ever been completely devoted to something grand like that, nor have i employed whatever little skills i've been gifted with to their proper usage. i'd like to be that kind of figure to my loved ones in their moments of weakness, the ''keep pushing on'' kind of guy, but truth be told i'm often the first one to fold under pressure. i've abandoned a few of my dreams due to juvenile cowardice, instead of just trying it out. i will admit that on the best of days, a kobashi match can kick my ass enough to get me to be there and do something good for a friend or family member impromptu, and make my work out harder. strangely enough, this is also how i feel about my love for werner herzog movies
thanks for reading my gayass blogpost.

yeah this post is gay
you can live vicariously through their experience and still do your own thing and be happy
kind of sounds like you haven't done anything but be an npc sheep while also watching wrestling your entire adult life and maybe that has more to do with your depressing line of thinking than not being a wrestler
