The issue is since everybody knows this shits fake, Gunther winning doesn’t matter. A win over John Cena doesn’t matter because they just gave it to him. His position is insta locked. Gunther isn’t going to elevate after this. Going 30 mins in a competitive match with Cena and having tension the entire time would’ve made Gunther look better than this, regardless of victor.
