Sports entertainment is unironically more enjoyable than wrestling and I'm tired of pretending it isn't. I'd take the worst 2012 WWE dancing/farting segments over 5 star matches of the 70s.

I think there's plenty of other feuds you could book that'd be good, but would only work if they don't plan on ever actually pushing the guy, theoretically a guy like LA Knight or Jacob Fatu, or if they finally pull the trigger on a Cody heel turn. Then after a few years, and the landscape is different and you've had more NXT call-ups, you can turn Cody back or put him back in the main event or whatever with the added parity to the title scene.
