>>19486680>Meiko SatomuraLiterally who.>GoldbergGot bitched when they cut his post-match segment halfway.>Bully RayHe will be missed. >D-Von DudleyAlways lived in Bully's shadow, his body was broken down and had to be carried by everyone else in his last match. >John CenaGood match, poor finish execution.
>>19486697>MeikoShe was NXT UK champion. Even managed to carry Kairi's ass to a good match back in the day.https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7t4aa9
>>19486680Crazy to think Meiko wrestled back on Nitro.
>>19486680>literally fucking who>it was legit awful because he's only good for squash matches>good match>good match>marks got what they deserve and swerved
>>19486760>watching NXT I've only ever watched WCW or RAW. Everything else is lol lmao.
>>19486760i didnt even know ukraine had nxt
>>19486921Still, she's good - like I said, even managed to give Kairi a good match. Also had solid bouts with Asuka and the legendary Akira Hokuto (who also wrestled WCW, as did Satomura - >>19486881).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qx1B35rVcnwhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm2_UYuHxPg
>>19486881It's interesting to think that in the late 90s, the available joshi talent pool was deep enough for WCW to prime their audience for women's wrestling like they did with Mexicans and cruiserweight wrestling. The audience wasn't really there for Japanese chicks at the time though. Except in Canada. Sailor Moon was like Hogan there in the late 90s.
>>19487121Yeah, I watched back in the day. We really weren't tuning in for women's wrestling, no matter how good they might have been. Shame because, like you said, there were some damn talented joshis at the time.
