Sorry for a lot to read, but I need advice
yeah, Attitude Era Kid, the Rock, Undertaker, Kane, and Mankind were my heroes when I was 12

But I grew up, stopped watching, fell off

here, decades later, I'm on hulu last year looking for something in the background, "Hey what's Raw doing right now?" so I watched it just out of curiousity, this will be a fun one time thing I do

One episode, I'm back in, I'm SO in, It was right before Rumble 2024, I see Chody doing his thing, I knew OF dusty rhodes from darkside of the ring and other docs I had been watching but I didn't know the whole story of his son (until I fell into it and started getting wrestling lore videos in my feed and get caught up on the whole story)

I love it, would call myself an easy mark, over 2024 I'm watching EVERY week, loving it, so comfy, love wrestling (Would say my favorite wrestler working is Drew, hated him at first because I hate myself and I have this weird thing where if I relate to a character I hate them at first, but then grow to love them)

Wrestlemania was epic, and I didn't even have all the lore and history but even I knew that was sick
so now I'm in, Chody is my champion, QB1 I am the easiest mark you can ask for

Loved the Cena Heel turn, he wasn't my childhood hero, I left just as he was starting the whole white rapper gimick and I wasn't around for the PG era

So yeah, i love watching wrestling, but...I'm starting to see the cracks, like I get why long time fans have problems,

I want to try AEW, because frankly WWE is getting too expensive to follow, I need Netflix, AND the ESPN bundle to get everything? And I can't even watch Smackdown because I don't have live TV and it sucks

I said, "let me try AEW, everyone says they're for the REAL fans!"

It just feels so amature, do i need to give it a few episodes for it to sink in? for stories to start developing? What do I need to do to graduate from easy WWE mark to Sports Entertainment super fan?
