I hate the term 'flanderization' but it applies far too well. That had both of those things. But there was a foundation of a relationship between them so when they did kiss it had weight to it. When they did blade it heightened moments and got some damn big reactionsIt's like Hell in a Cell. Look at those early ones with Shawn and Undertaker or the Undertaker and Mankind one. Historic shit. Then it becomes a yearly ppv. You can't even remember half the matches or who was in them because it became cheapened and didn't matter
