Money is really the only thing that matters. No matter how good your promotion is, if you don't make enough money, the promotion will close. I would much rather have seen various promotions that closed change what they do and stay in business then close. It doesn't mean you can't have some fun sometimes or book things you want to see, but it's better to do that on smaller shows than on shows where you need to draw big gates or get big ratings.And rice is great. You can eat it anytime with pretty much anything you want.
