I don't think it's a bad message at all and I think trying to turn it into a console warring one is going to only lead to more and more shortened careers on the AEW side of things. They already do so many needless risks to appeal to the style of wrestling those fans want to see. There's no harm in saying hey slow it down and be smarter. But even if that's you, you can still succeed and make it big because connecting with crowds, building moments, and telling stories will always matter more than a ""good match."" That's the thing too. You could've had this Mox and Fletcher spot worked into a match all the same, just don't actually land him on his head. You could sell it like he did. You could have commentary say he did. That's where the whole work part of it comes into play. These people have one body and they need it make money. To even risk throwing it away over a few seconds of a match that otherwise don't even matter is beyond me
