Punk’s title reign has been boring and pointless (meaning, it hasn’t advanced any storylines), mostly because it was unplanned due it unexpectedly starting with Seff vacating it, and Punk beating Jey was obvious. No stakes. No drama. They had to pivot when Seff got hurt, so Punk’s reign was always just a bridge to Bron Breakker. (My guess is Bron was supposed to beat Seff for it on Jan 5 anyway.) All the action on Raw is with the heels anyway. The Vision having a belt will give them reasons to start bickering and splintering, which could be fun. I think the real question is who will Bron Breakker defend the belt against at Wrestlemania? Maybe a Punk rematch?
