I don't create a favorite among the players. That's my motto when I'm in charge of the group. Reality has neither fairness nor equality, but it's an important lesson taught to me by a respected senior. Even so, Sayami Ueyatani is special. >>19588637There may be a case that the loss to Senka Akatsuki is the one that starts the next transformation of Seri Yamaoka. Her match with Yuuka Yamazaki today was the start of a side that I believe she's long been capable of -- dominance. Yamaoka is far and away the best of her rookie peers and has become one of the best wrestlers in the world VERY quickly. While it was Yamazaki who got some offense in their Rookie of the Year tournament to make foir a competitve match, this match still felt like a change of pace for Yamaoka. A good change at that. Becoming even more sure of herself and the abilities she has is what will make her a world champion -- and soon.2026 is shaping up to be the year Yamaoka wins even more, and this match was a wonderful way to start showing that pivot.I'd also like to say this -- Yamazaki was very good herself in their match, and I think in any other year, she's a top rookie in almost any other class. She just happened to debut the same time as Seri and Shinno. Bright future ahead.I really enjoyed this back-and-forth, as I'm a believer that both are great talents, but Yamaoka overcoming her own doubts to be even greater is her story right now. Once she unlocks full confidence, it's over for everyone else. Her 2025 goes down as the BEST Rookie Campaign I've ever seen.AKA GAIN TASTE LOSER

Sareee just runs the same match over and over; beating the ever looking hell out of Poi, giving her next to nothing, doing the same meaningless extended submission spots that have no impact on the match (she just lets go of), matches always ending with the same sequence (Uranage spam into the loser's final finish getting blocked and the winner hitting theirs) Meanwhile Kamitani's matches are all dynamic and tend to feature a bunch of things featured in the build e.g. Saori being willing to use weapons in response to kamitani, the slap sequence being a little tribute to Saori's final Tam match, the finish coming straight out of the Pottering that defeated Kamitani the show prior. Kamitani matches have a formulaic first few minutes then switch up, Sareee matches aren't just formulaic throughout but she's got pretty predictable win/loss routines. She gives it her all but the predictability takes it toll when you watch her a lot.

Ranna Yagami is a goofy looking dyke who got fat as fuck as soon as she got out of her Rookie year. She has nothing better to do than to eat all the catering at shows and the dojo while getting even fatter and uglier.

>[STARDOM] First female Pro Wrestling Grand Prix MVP Saya Kamitani and gold medalist Eri Tosaka hold "New Year's Girls' Get-Together" "If we break down the barriers, more light will shine on women">A unique conversation took place between Saya Kamitani (29) of Stardom, the first woman to win the Most Valuable Player award (MVP) at the Tokyo Sports Newspaper 2025 Pro Wrestling Awards supported by Nitan Clinic, and Eri Tosaka (32), the gold medalist in the women's 48kg wrestling category at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. The two, who became close after appearing together on a TV show, reunited. The details of their "New Year's girls' get-together" were revealed, and they even engaged in forbidden talk about love.>Tosaka Eri (hereafter Tosaka): Congratulations on winning the Pro Wrestling Grand Prix MVP award! You're the first woman to do so. It's amazing!>Saya Kamitani (hereafter Kamitani): Thank you! Because men have become more prominent in the world of professional wrestling, there's a tendency to think that women can't win the MVP award. But I thought that if I could break down that wall, more attention would be given to women, so I started speaking out publicly.>Tosaka: That's amazing... What was the trigger? Was it something like getting noticed on "Chidori no Oni Renchan" (Fuji TV)?>Kamitani: I think it was after I started appearing in the media that I experienced the things I said coming true one after another, which gave me confidence.>Tosaka: That's right. Before we co-starred, I watched Oni Renchan and thought she had a lot of guts. So when I heard we'd be working together on the show, I was so happy. After that, I became more interested in pro wrestling, and I watched it thinking, "So this is how hard she's working now." I think she won the grand prize because there were so many people like me.
ZOOS.
all im saying is that the ranna fandom is mirai-coded
>>19590502>Kamitani: We've worked together on shows up until now and I really respect Tosaka-chan's positive and cheerful side. In a segment on "Street Rumors Checked Out! What's It Really Like?" (TBS), where they tested whether it would be possible to gain at least 1kg a day for three days in a row, Tosaka-chan hadn't gained any weight on the first day and when she went home, she didn't seem depressed at all and cheerfully said, "Keep up the good work! See you later!" and it really left an impression on me. After that, during "KUNOICHI" (TBS), Tosaka-chan also fell on the first stage... but seeing her go home with a bright smile on her face was really a relief.>Tosaka: That made me depressed too! Because I entered the studio at about 7:30 that morning, and I was fourth from the back, so it was about 3pm when my turn came, but I collapsed five seconds into the performance... Rather than feeling like I couldn't show my best, I felt really bad that the staff had come to see me that morning. It reminded me of what Yoshida Saori said at the Olympics, "I'm sorry I couldn't win," even though it was a completely different situation (laughs). But I don't generally dwell on it.>Kamitani: That's right! I was still struggling with it for about a week after that day. Did you have that mental strength from when you were competing?>Tosaka: My father always used to say, "The moment you lose, the next battle begins," and I thought that was certainly true. Even if you get depressed, it doesn't change the fact that you lost, and if you don't get up eventually, you'll be depressed forever. I thought that if you're going to try your best again anyway, you might as well get up faster than anyone else and move on to the next thing. So even when I was still active, even if I lost in a tournament, I would immediately do push-ups when I got home.

the kurara fandom as demonstrated continually in this thread is incredibly mirai-coded and the krr slurper’s incredibly retarded revisionism rings hollow
>>19590529Nah you couldn't do shit. Your body rejects alcohol. Lol.
>>19590516>Kamitani: That's amazing. I'm the type of person who tends to hold on to things. But now I'm trying to bring that negative emotion and hatred to the ring and use it with the mindset of "What the hell! Watch these guys!">Tosaka Eri (hereinafter Tosaka): Speaking of which, I heard that you've put romance on hold for the past year, but I also decided not to get a boyfriend until the Olympics and trained hard to gain confidence, so I thought it was the same for me!>Saya Kamitani (hereafter Kamitani): Huh? Who told you that? It's not like I had sealed it away, but I was so busy that I didn't have time for romance. This year, I just wanted to work hard at pro wrestling and put all my effort into it. That made it a special year because I was able to enjoy things that I don't get to experience in my private life.>Tosaka: What kind of person do you like? Like a professional wrestler?>Kamitani: I guess I wouldn't like being a professional wrestler (laughs). I don't really like talking about work in my private life.>My husband Tosaka (Kuramoto Kazuma, a fighter) also won the All Japan Championship and we went to world championships together, but we never talked about wrestling when he was active. However, I've loved martial arts since I was a child, so when I had to miss school with a cold, my parents would borrow PRIDE or mixed martial arts DVDs for me and I'd watch them all the time. So when I watched my husband's matches, I would see his weaknesses and think he might lose there, and then he would actually lose because of that technique, so I'd have to say something. That would make my husband a little annoyed, so I think he probably listened to what Kamitani said.>Kamitani: I don't think I'd be suited to someone in the same industry. I wonder what kind of person would be a good fit...? Tosaka-chan, did you have a crush on your husband when you met him?
you're the most retard fanbase itt bro
>>19590537>Tosaka: I've known him since high school, so there was nothing like that at all. My senior at university was my husband's senior at high school, so we went out to eat and I thought he was a nice guy.>Kamitani: Wow, that's wonderful! Do you ever get emotionally unstable and take it out on your husband, Tosaka-chan?>Tosaka: Maybe not really. But when I'm feeling down at work and I say "I didn't do this again today," my husband, who is more positive than me, says "That was great!" even though he didn't see it, and that really saves me. Because my husband and I are both positive, our son has grown up to be super positive and often says "I'm a genius!" (laughs). So I think a funny guy who's positive and has a great attitude is good.>Kamitani: That's true! We're looking for people who fit that description (laughs).>--Finally, what are your aspirations for this year?>Kamitani: My current goal is to hold a show at the Tokyo Dome with Stardom. The last time women's professional wrestling held a tournament at a dome was about 30 years ago. That was only once, during the heyday of women's professional wrestling, and I want to recreate that heyday, so I'll work hard and aim for the Tokyo Dome.>Tosaka: That's amazing! I'd love to go see it if it's held. I started an organization that brings sports to children who don't have many opportunities to play sports, such as those in special needs schools, orphanages, or on remote islands. So I want to get involved with more children and expand the organization, and I also want to pursue a second career that will inspire other female athletes. Please let me go see a game next time!>Kamitani: I'm happy! Please come!
