Anons, where are you watching old wrestling now that it's all kill on legal sources? I know of a few possibilities but none are perfect>XWTThe free leech torrents are low quality, the high quality ones are impossible to seed so you'll eventually be screwed>Internet ArchiveBuffers every 5 seconds and I can't find some years>watchwrestlingLow qualityI guess I can make do, but wondering if anyone has figured out something better.
Vhs tapes
>>19595616only option is buying updoot points on xwtno way around it
All the shit on the Network was edited or censored anyway, no big loss.
>>19595616we need to start putting our own collections together to create our own torrents and/or a torrent site
>>19595632I would take part in this. I go to Goodwills and yard sales looking for wrestling tapes and DVD's
>>19595628or just not being a leech
>>19595616does the internet archive or 1max even the original version or is that the network version of raw?
>>19595665It's impossible, I'll be seeding their stuff for days on end and barely get to seed anything. There's not enough people downloading the historical stuff, plus there's some seeders that are hopelessly fast and make it impossible for everyone else.
>>19595644just imagine it, a /pw/ wrestling archive. all pirated, all unedited and uncensored, and all of it freely available to all. and of course, it would surely have the effect of bringing more traffic here. we have an opportunity to become THE number one spot for old wrestling if we play it right.
>>19595616>>19595665Private trackers are gay. No exceptions.
>>19595677sounds beautiful take my energy
>>19595676seed the nxt collection that was just uploaded
>>19595674Archive and 1max are network versions, but 1max is encoded to a lower quality. XWT has the originals but they're usually VHS quality or something. There are some torrents on XWT that take the high quality network versions and edit in all the missing stuff, but those only cover a few shows and eras.
>>19595686do it for vince
>>19595689yeah like the attitude era i want to see in order would be sick
>>19595674Just the original network version of Raw, which is good because there's no WWF blurring but you still get entrance songs dubbed over e.g. Victoria's tatu theme. It's worse for old Nitros. an ambitious group of anons could redub them like the Recdub project but it would take years to complete
>>19595665it's easy to get ratio cucked on there, just watching the g1 will do it t. on my third account
>>19595697There's some people doing it, I know most WWE/WWF PPVs have been restored, and I think about half of Attitude Era Raws as well. But it takes ridiculously long to do.
>>19595707That's actually based. iirc the entrance theme redubbing actually gets worse after the attitude era ended so it looks like ruthless aggression babies have to wait
I found a guy on rutracker (mml2) who uploaded pretty much all of WWE from 1997 to 2023 in decent enough quality, plus WCW from the start of Nitro up to the end. And there's no seeding requirements there, which means you can download as you please but some of the stuff is pretty slow from what I can tell.
>>19595622Bryan?
>>19595644Same here, but its not as easy to find now.
>>19595731Plus his uploads kept the WWE Network chapters, so you can just skip the shit you don't care about pretty easily. I unironically think this is the best option if WWF/WCW is what you're looking for.
>>19595731but is the network stuff or vhs?
>>19595628they're so gay for not having a point system like every other tracker
They're uploading the entirety of pre-CW NXT to YouTube. They might do Raw and SmackDown too.
>>19595765It's the Network version. If you're looking for VHS you can find a ton on XWT with free leech. Personally, I find the quality unbearable on modern screens which is a shame.>>19595783They're doing the same for WCW but they remove all of the stuff with Benoit, even if he's just referenced by someone, the entire segment is cut. Even if they eventually get around to Raw and Smack it will be the worst way to watch by far.
>>19595789>They're doing the same for WCW but they remove all of the stuff with Benoit, even if he's just referenced by someone, the entire segment is cut. That fucking sucks. I really wish they'd change that. Nobody is bothered by seeing Chris Benoit. It's just historical.
>>19595789you gotta pay to use xwt
>>19595807No, free sign ups are closed now but they open them from time to time. I have an account there and never paid, but as others have said, keeping a decent upload ratio is very hard.
>>19595789>>19595801The Ruthless Aggression era will be unwatchable, especially around the time he becomes a main eventer, considering how often commentary brings up the top guys during unrelated matches.
>>19595831Yeah, if they're taking the archive off Peacock then they need to cut that shit out. That's just unacceptable.
>>19595807I just downloaded a couple of shows from the wcw and wwf megapacks and let them seed indefinitely. A 2GB investment giving a 426GB return is p cool. Do that with being early for big PPVs and joshi shows and you'll make out ahead in 24 or 48 hours. My ratio is above a 1.9 with a multiple TB of buffer so I could download every show in 1080p for the next couple years and never worry about it. Never spent a penny but I do hate how there's no point system or ways to earn a personal 24 hour freeleech or some basic bonus that every other private tracker offers
>>19595855if u don’t have an account you have to buy one anon
>>19595616Back when the Network was a thing I'd see DVDs for WWE in Walmart that cost more than $9.99 and I'd think "what's the point of that?"
>>19595996they do open signups all the time. or at least used to
>>19595996they do rounds of invites for existing members so make a friend that has an account
>>19595676>plus there's some seeders that are hopelessly fast and make it impossible for everyone else.I hate this. I upload a lot of stuff there and often, I'll only end up uploading the same number of GB as the actual file.
>>19596057hey wanna be my friend
>>19596131No
