Revolution is blowing past last years tracking. Are we seeing a pendulum swing?
>>19597950oh it's swangin alright
>>19597950The Pendulum is a legit phenomenon
>>19597950>5kFor a ppv? Holy grim
>>19598598That show ended up doing like 11k+, so certainly on pace to be doing 13-14k for this event.
>>19597950>trying to brag about 7kWe're seeing AEW's dying gasps. Their PPVs are getting outdrawn by Raw, Smackdown, and in many cases WWE house shows. This week's Dynamite only drew 2,238 people btw. Why aren't you talking about that?
>>19598667>the fat retard is already in here copingLMAO
>>19598667why ya cryin bitchtits
>>19598667wwe always gets a christmas time bump cause of normies so thats an outlier tomorrow's smackdown has the same house as revolution which is in march
>>19597950Tickets are going for $35This show has a good chance of doing a milly gate, one of about 4 they can expect all year
>>19598667uh oh edrones are already crying
>>19597950The pendulum has swung, as long as we don't talk about attendance or revenue, in which case no it hasn't swung and you will just move on to your backup set of talking points, bitching about Jews and Triple Nose and other gay shit
>>19598690>>19598696>>19598737Kek here comes the seething AEWtist pretending to be 3 people. Attendance for Collision and Dynamite is so bad that you just want to avoid that whole conversation entirely. You're trying to cherrypick AEW's PPV attendance but that doesn't really work because it's no better than random episodes of Raw and Smackdown. And ratings? Dynamite didn't even chart last week. So I know you don't wanna talk about ratings.
>>19598756“edrones are confirmed to be fat gay jew lovers more news at 11”.
>>19598816definitely more than 1 person edrone…
>>19598816>they didn't chart in prime time despite not being in prime time>meanwhile raw didnt chart for a month and lost to a burning stick
>>19597950>Are we seeing a pendulum swing? We still haven't seen the ratings for last week's Dynamite
>>19598817good chance bt is one of themthat level of malicious neurosis is common with em and pretty rare in goys
>>19598823>>19598826>>19598817>>19598869Nice try. But the reason Dynamite didn't chart is because its ratings were too low. If enough people were watching it then it would've charted just like this movie that started at 6 PM did. Oh and stop talking to yourself.
>>19598888>movie that ended in prime timesorry schlomo, time to move on to another con
>>19598926>movie that ended in prime timeSo did Dynamite. It's over, AEWtist. You lost.
>>19598947sure pal
AEW seems like it is going the right direction again, 2024 was pretty bad but 2025 was great and I tune in occasionally again. They have MOSTLY stopped pushing WWE rejects who just want to go back there as soon as Daddy Paul asks which has improved the product.
>>19598970I accept your surrender.>>19599070>2025 was greatAEW performed worse in 2025 than ever before. It's cool that you liked it personally, but objectively speaking it was a disaster for them and Tony's booking made a shit ton of people nope out. AEW's going in a direction alright but it isn't the right one.
>>19599131go to your little chart and look at tbs at 8pmdid you miss that or just retarded?
>>19599131>AEW performed worse in 2025 than ever before. It's cool that you liked it personally, but objectively speaking it was a disaster for them and Tony's booking made a shit ton of people nope out. AEW's going in a direction alright but it isn't the right one.i don't care about your console war faggotry or ratings please kys
>>19599133>>19599134And here he is the again. The singular AEWtist, shitting himself with rage because facts hurt his feelings. His is a pitiful existence.
>>19597950The original 4 PPVs do well every year, Dynasty which usually does badly is in Vancouver this year and All In is back in Wembley. There'll probably be another international PPV later this year because they want to test new markets. Solid PPV gates might as well be a foregone conclusion. Means nothing.Weekly AEW attendance is going to be subpar all year even if the product improves. The brand itself is poison.
>>19599162they were running smaller venues, i thought y'all wanted that
>International PPVs draw a bigger crowd and more revenueThis is good>they also cost hundreds of thousands more in shipping/travel expensesThis is less good
>>19599159get off the internet and make some rl friends
>>19597950World’s End also beat last year’s attendance
>>19599193Was hoping for an Arena Mexico PPV this year. Getting a Grand Slam but it's not the same.
>>19599162>this year and All In is back in WembleyThat's gonna be fucking brutal. AEW's Wembley shows dropped form 70k to 40k in just two years. What's it gonna be this year? 20k? >>19599176AEW didn't run Dynamite in smaller venues when they should have. Now they're running tiny venues because they have to.
>>19599198It's okay bro. I already accepted your surrender. Calm down.
>>19599209you were in the nye thread complaining about people watching on nyenow it's bad that no one went to the nye showmental illness
>>19597950They got a pretty good reception last time they went to LA. Wouldn’t be surprised that becomes AEW’s main stronghold domestic wise. Likely because so many of their roster is from Cali or loved PWG
>>19599228>you were in the nye thread complaining about people watching on nyeNo I wasn't. Get some help for your schizophrenia, I'm begging ya>now it's bad that no one went to the nye showI wouldn't say 2.2k is "no one" but it's pretty fucking bad considering Dynamite used to draw around 5k consistently. And that's when Tony needed to run smaller venues btw. He'd take these good crowds but put them in huge arenas that were way too big for them, so there were seas of empty seats and it just made both the crowds and AEW itself look like a total joke. They never recovered from the damage that did to their image.
>>19599162Dynasty & Worlds End are the two stinker PPV’s every time
Their shows aren’t even charting on cable anymore
>>19599260do you think arenas grow on trees? it's bingo halls or basketball buildings for the most part
>>19599206AEW could still do a PPV in Mexico this year, there will be a huge hole between Forbidden Door sometime in June and All In at the end of August. But it would be a bit awkward having back-to-back interpromotional PPVs and then building to the biggest show of the year in LondonIdeally, they would do a 3 hour MAX exclusive special show in both Australia and Mexico to drive MAX subscriptions. It would still be a discount to anyone who doesn't currently have MAX, $15 vs $50, and for international markets without MAX, put it on FITE like everything else for $10-20.If I had Tony's ear for 30 seconds at a meet and greet, that's what I'd want to talk to him about: MAX specials, why or why not? They seem like such a no-brainer.
>>19599307Yeah you could use Max for niche stuff too, like a Women's C2
>>19597950March 15 is MJF's 30th birthday too
>>19599261>Dynasty>stinkerincorrect
>>19599315Now that you mention it, that actually makes a lot of sense to have the C2 during the build to Forbidden Door/All In. Most of the AEW vs NJPW vs CMLL matches are Men's matches so it's a good time to run a women's tournament. 6 women's matches per week would be a hard sell for AEW TV, but they could put 2 of them on ROH.
>>19599273Nigga, there are plenty of 5k to 4k seat venues that Tony could've run back when Dynamite was drawing that many people. But he let his ego get the better of him and kept booking 10k+ seaters, I guess for the bragging rights and/or because he thought it made AEW look like a big deal. But it all backfired horribly because it resulted in way too many empty seats and made good crowds look bad.
>>19599368There isn't really. Events for crowds that size just use the bigger arenas because no one spergs out over empty seats online when they do unless they're wrestling shows
>>19599193AEW had no business plan for when they ran out of big English markets to debut in. COVID iced them out for a year while they were still fresh, which allowed them to coast on one extra year of being the hot novelty. But if you go back and look at the list of cities they ran post-COVID, you can see the smoke and mirrors fade: 2021-2022 was about strategically maximizing the biggest eastern US markets, 2022-2023 was about finally debuting in the West Coast and Canada plus getting the Wembley show, and after that the novelty wore off. In 2025 they had Australia which underperformed and Mexico which CMLL carried but that's it.
>>19599368Not technically wrong but you're being a little mean about it. There's not much incentive to build an arena if it can't fit, at minimum, a regulation-size basketball court. Anything smaller is just a theater or performance hall that won't be designed to fit 3,000-5,000 people in a wrestling-friendly configuration. to build on >>19599396 AEW needs a large backstage area for equipment, catering, dressing rooms, and so on, which small Junior College type buildings don't have enough of. They were certainly paying more to have emptier buildings, but the price overrun was probably worth it as far as maintaining relationships/favorable pricing, comfort, proximity to public transit/accommodations and so on.
>>19598667Raw just got beat by a gif of a burning log little bro
>>19599443sports arenas also have a lot of the stuff they need built in like broadcasting tech and rigging fixtures in the roofs etc, and their own marketing teams and more staffthey're much easier to use
>>19599413Of the 10 titles in AEW, 9 are on acts that haven't been in WWE in 5+ years (or not at all), so they're building the right way, in a way. The thing AEW has to avoid excusing some of their tendencies with "they're doing it, so it's OK if we do it". WWE has millions of fans who watch the shows out of habit, AEW doesn't. WWE can get away with announcing 1-2 matches and nothing else...but that doesn't mean AEW should do the same thing.Thekla hasn't had a match in 5 weeks - announce a match for her ASAP, don't wait until day of or day before Collision/Dynamite. Same thing with Jet Speed, who took a break for the CC, announce a match now, while some fans are still 50/50 on taking the day off work (or taking a half day) to go to the show.Booking for the die-hards is a matter of preference, but not maximizing your promotional window is a bad decision. You've built the sicko army, so let them go to work for you.
>>19599467very true, it's easier to pay the hourlies to use equipment they're already familiar with instead of hiring randos to work the junior college gym with equipment they've never used before. Plus there's concessions, bathrooms, more parking (for fans and AEW trucks), Ticketmaster vs proprietary website, etc.Don't get me wrong, I LOVE laughing at AEW, but momma ain't raise no bitch. I'm not going to sit here and pretend I wasn't agitating for many of the exact things AEW is delivering right now (women's tag titles, smaller arenas, pushing AEW talent vs WWE layoffs, more promos, greater use of social media...)

>>19611076They're an "indy show" that spends more per contract than WWE. There has never been a single soul claiming GCW or RevPro would pay millions to poach Rhea Ripley or AJ Styles, those conversations are reserved for the nepobaby spending daddy's fortune on toys
>>19624543not hard to spend more per contract than WWE. hell gcw probably does pay more than some of the NXT shitters make. TKO and WWE are both notoriously fucking cheap.
>>19624551Oy vey
Wow
>>19624551WWE spends way more on certain guys though, depends on the guy. KO and Sami got way more, same with Orton. When Edge first came back he wanted to go to AEW but they gave him a dumptruck full of money. All depends on whatever bookers think they need
PENDALUM BROS
>>19627361cant speak to whenever orton/sami/ko got their current deals, but i'm guessing like edge it was before TKO took over
