ONE OF PAUL'S BLACK & GOLD BOYS IS LEAVING THE COMPANY

https://www.newsweek.com/sports/wrestling/tommaso-ciampa-is-reportedly-leaving-wwe-11301780

>The long and storied tenure of Tommaso Ciampa in WWE appears to be reaching its conclusion. Reports indicate that the "Sicilian Psychopath," a cornerstone of the NXT brand and a key figure on the main roster as part of DIY, is set to depart the company upon the expiration of his current contract.

>Over the last two weeks, eagle-eyed fans have noticed a significant change in the presentation of Johnny Gargano. The "Rebel Heart" has been appearing on WWE television accompanied only by his wife, Candice LeRae, with his tag team partner notably absent.

>This sudden shift has now been contextualized by a report from BodySlam.net. The report claims that Ciampa’s absence is indicative of his looming exit.
>>
Take Gargano with you.

>According to the report, Ciampa’s contract is "coming up," and he has made the decision to finish his time with the company without signing a renewal. While the exact date of his final day remains unconfirmed, the writing appears to be on the wall for the former NXT Champion.

>“Sources indicate to Bodyslam that Tommaso Ciampa's contract is coming up, and he plans on finishing his time with the company without a renewal. It's unclear if Ciampa chose not sign a new deal and is planning on going elsewhere or wants to take time off without a deal,” the report stated.

>Ciampa was last seen on WWE programming during the December 19 episode of "Friday Night SmackDown." On that night, he teamed with Gargano in a losing effort against the powerhouse duo of Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes.

>The match, which showcased the rising stock of Dragunov and Hayes, may serve as the unceremonious swan song for one of the modern era's most beloved tag teams. The uncertainty surrounding Ciampa’s future moves adds an intriguing layer to the story.

>It remains unknown whether the 40-year-old veteran intends to jump to a competitor like AEW, where he would likely find fresh matchups and creative freedom. Or if he plans to step away from the ring entirely to heal his body.

>Ciampa has a well-documented history of severe neck injuries, and a break from the WWE schedule could be a motivating factor in his decision. If this is indeed the end of Ciampa’s WWE run, it marks the close of a significant chapter.

>His rivalry and partnership with Gargano defined the "Black and Gold" era of NXT. It produced some of the most acclaimed matches in company history. Their reunion on the main roster as DIY was a fan-service moment many thought would lead to a lengthy Tag Team Championship reign. However, with Gargano now moving forward with LeRae by his side, WWE seems to be quietly preparing for a future without the "Blackheart."

I don't believe it at all

Legit, are there any NXT Black & Gold stars who actually made it in WWE?

Vince was right, they were all shitters, every single one.

90% of the roster
>>
I mean, let's look at all the NXT Champions from that era and see how they went.

>Seth Rollins
Has been one of the companies stars for over a decade now.

>Big E
Retired due to breaking his neck. But was a big star before this with New Day.

>Bo Dallas
Was essentially a joke jobber for his entire first run on the main roster. Got released. Came back and actually given a new gimmick with the Wyatt Sick. But nothing has been done with him much since then.

>Neville
In AEW as PAC with the Death Riders

>Sami Zayn
While mostly a midcarder, he did gain some status with his association with the Bloodline. But since has gone back to being the top of the midcard. No world championship wins.

>Kevin Owens
Floats from being top of midcard to the main event scene from time-to-time. Has only won one world title, but got jobbed out to Goldberg for it.

>Finn Balor
Seemed to have a rocket strapped to him when he first came to the main roster. Won a world title, but got immediately injured and was out 9 months, forcing him to vacate. Came back to be jobbed out again to guys like Roman (They even had him pin the Demon). Finds his stride as being leader of the Judgement Day, but no other world title reign since.

>Samoa Joe
While he did participate in some main events, he was given midcard status. Vince didn't even want him to wrestle, made him be a commentator. Now is in AEW and has been a world title holder twice.

>Shinsuke Nakamura
Permanently stuck in the midcard. Often disappears for months at a time. Seemed like they had something going for him by him winning the Rumble, but his feud with AJ turned into them hitting each other in the balls.

>Bobby Roode
Turned into midcarder. Retired due to injury and now has a backstage role

>Drew McIntyre
Has become a part of the main event scene after his first run with WWE became a joke with 3MB. Went to TNA and ICW and became a main eventer there. But always seemed to destined to due something in WWE.

>>
>>19608993
Winning world titles and making up the vast number of segments on the shows are totally different things and would argue those that take up most tv time like a Sami Zayn's success is far more impressive than someone who has won a world title. Wrestling is fake. Chad Gable was the ultimate utility man in 2024 and one of the most important acts on the show.
>>
>>19608959
>>19608955
none of them are draws
>>
>>19609018
No one in wrestling is thats why WWE has to beg Dwayne Johnson to come out of retirement every 2 years.
>>
not a bad idea, as spots are opening elsewhere
>>
>>19608993

>Andrade
Lol, is midcarder on the main roster and then get released. Goes to AEW has a decent, okay run there until Triple H gets back in power and Andrade tries to get out of his contract, including by beating up Sammy Guevara. He just extends his contract longer. Goes back to WWE, gets divorced from Charlotte, supposedly no-shows events, and gets released again. Shows up in AEW even though everyone thought he burned that bridge, but is taken off because WWE claims a one year no compete clause (Which he has supposedly beaten now).

>Aleister Black
Again, like Andrade, made a mid carder on main roster and gets released. Goes to AEW where his runs does okay at first, and creates the House of Black, but again once Triple H gets back into power, tries to get released by refusing to do jobs to anyone who isn't ex-WWE. Has to wait to get released from his contract. Comes back, and immediately put on midcard again. His boy Brody King is doing better then him now.

>Tommaso Ciampa
Made midcarder, gets released. Comes back when Triple H is in power again. Reunited with Gargano. The tag team does shit. Now is apparently leaving.

>Johnny Gargano
Leaves before he is called up to main roster. Everyone thinks he's going to AEW but never shows up. Comes back when Triple H is in power. Reunited with Ciampa. Has done shit since.

>Adam Cole
Left before he could be moved to main roster (Where Vince wanted him to shave his head and manage instead of wrestle). Goes to AEW. While he has some good moments, he has injury after injury (Super bad luck) and participates in one of AEW's most infamous storyline (The Devil). Gets another injury and seems like he will retire.

(2/3)
>>
>>19608928
An even bigger stooge than William Regal. If Tony hires him, Tommaso will be reporting to Triple H everyday about AEW's internal workings and plans
>>
>>19609041
>>19608993

>Keith Lee
Goes to the main roster and while he does seem like he's going to main event, he gets put in the midcard with a shit gimmick (Bearcat Keith Lee). Gets released and joins AEW. Has a decent run as a tag team with Swerve Strickland. But then falls apart soon after. Seems to have long Covid or something and has not been seen on AEW TV in over a year (While his buddy Swerve becomes of the company's main stars).

>Karrion Kross
Seems like he was molded to be Triple H's self-insert. Is a big star in NXT. Goes to main roster and given a gimp mask and is jobbed out to Jeff Hardy while still NXT Champion. Released with his wife Scarlett. Does an indie run. Comes back. Seems to try and be made into something. Near the end of his run, it seems like he's given a big storyline with Sami Zayn. Gets released, and at first fans are mad. Some even think his release is a work. But seems to have been forgotten since then and has since gone back on the indies.

(3/3)
>>
>>19608993
>>19609041
>>19609047

So out all of these, only

>Seth Rollins
>Sami Zayn
>Kevin Owens
>Finn Balor
>Drew McIntyre

became big stars.
>>
>>19608993
I'm still mad at how the fucking fumbled Bobby Roode. Retards didn't just let him do his thing like in TNA. I miss Beer Money Inc
>>
>>19609054
I remember when James Storm appeared in NXT for like one match and then went back to TNA lol
>>
>>19609056
Yeah I to this day have no idea what that shit was about, have a buddy that watches the product more than me, mentioned he was on that week, I tune in next week expecting him and nothing, legit thought he was pulling my leg until I looked it up online and saw it did happen.
What could have been, I guess
>>
As a representative of Elitegods, we do want him and always wanted him
>>
>>19609063
he went back to TNA because they offered him another run with roode, he signs and then roode leaves for NXT lol
>>
Okay, let's look at the NXT Women's Champions

>Paige
Was a big star in WWE for a while, one of their main women attractions. Won AJ Lee's title on her debut match. Even got a movie based on her produced by The Rock. Went a bit crazy after her nudes leaked and she hooked up with Alberto Del Rio. Seemed like she was almost fired from the company but came back as manager of the Kabuki Warriors. But left after that and took a hiatus. Came to AEW, won the title once, but her run was pretty subpar overall (All we got out of it was Timeless Toni Storm). Left AEW on good terms. Has said she wants to go back to WWE but nothing has happened yet.

>Charlotte Flair
Also has become a big star. One of the top card women's wrestlers, even if fans at times don't like her, she always gets by on being Ric Flair's daughter.

>Sasha Banks
Became one of WWE's biggest woman stars. Won a lot of titles. But got increasingly frustrated dealing with Vince. Walked out of the company over how her tag title reign was going. Came back in Japan. Gets injured, and then joins AEW. Her first year isn't that good, but since rebuild her gimmick and is a main girl on AEW TV.

>Bayley
Was pretty roughly treated on the main roster. The "This Is Your Life" segment with Alexa Bliss destroyed Bayley as a babyface. Had to turn heel. Does okay. Starts Damage CTRL but is betrayed, turning her face again. But since being face has kind of floundered with Lyra Valkyrie. Complains about her booking publicly and seems like she wants to join Sasha/Mercedes in AEW once her contract is up.

>Asuka
Has had some ups and downs on the main roster but is a reliable star. The crowd loves her, even if she isn't technically a top, top star like Becky or Charlotte.

>Ember Moon
Never did much on the main roster and went back to NXT. Released from WWE. Goes to AEW and becomes the top women's star in Ring of Honor. Has an impressive storyline with Billie Starkz. Is now starting to show up more on actual AEW TV.

(1/2)
>>
>>19609085
I heard also the NXT thing was a one-off tryout and he didn't get a contract offer.
>>
Hopefully he goes anywhere but AEW if true, because he'd get lost in the shuffle there and he might as well stay in WWE if he only cared about the good money. The way the Ciampa/Gargano feud dragged on was the very first crack on HHH's booking, btw.
>>
>>19609093
>Shayna Bazler
Given a weird biting gimmick (lol). Never does much on main roster other then being put with her actual friend Ronda Rousey, who the crowd doesn't like. Betrays Ronda, but nothing happens in the aftermath of it. Gets released, but has since come back as a backstage producer (According to a recent interview, it isn't full time, they call her in when they think they need her). Does indie shows now.

>Kairi Sane
Gets partnered with Asuka as Kabuki Warriors and has a decent tag team run. Leaves WWE because she got married to a Japanese guy. Goes back to Stardom and has an okay run. Comes back when Triple H comes back into power and joins Damage CTRL. Partners with Asuka again and they seem to continue their original, decent run as the Kabuki Warriors.

>Rhea Ripley
Doesn't have to be said, but has become one of WWE's top stars.

>Iyo Sky
Almost left because of Vince taking over but came back to join Damage CTRL (She was in NXT for quite awhile). Damage CTRL run goes well, and she even becomes a big babyface through sheer force of ability. Joins up with Rhea and has now become a top woman's star too.

>Raquel Gonzalez/Rodriguez
Is first teamed with Aaliyah on the main roster and is told by Vince to smile more. Doesn't do much. Eventually teams with Liv Morgan in her feud with Rhea Ripley. Joins Judgement Day and kind of hits her stride there, even if she's not a big centerpiece of it.

(2/2)
>>
>>19608928
Wasn’t this lying fuck about to retire 5 years ago?
>>
>>19609093
>>19609130
So really the current top stars from NXT are

>Charlotte
>Bayley (Even though she isn't doing much now and might leave the company at some point)
>Asuka
>Kairi (Mostly as a partner to Asuka
>Rhea
>Iyo
>Raquel (As a part of Judgement Day)

So really, I would say Charlotte, Asuka, Rhea, and Iyo are the current top stars from Black & Gold.
>>
>>19609131
Honestly, he could just leave and retire.
>>
>>19608928
No wait... please... come back...
>>
Who is going to take him?
>>
>>19608928
Paul fumbled.
>>
>>19609099
He did get an offer, but Triple H lowballed him. TNA just offered a better deal.
>>
>>19608928

>>

Fuck it, I'll do NXT Tag Team Champions really quick.

>British Ambition (Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey)
Both no longer with the company

>The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan)
One person is dead and the other came back to be a part of the Wyatt Sick

>Adrian Neville and Corey Graves
One is gone from company and the other retired to become a commentator for the company (But claimed he got cleared for a return but nothing has happened since).

>The Ascension (Conor O'Brian/Konnor and Rick Victor/Viktor)
Both are gone from company. Were a joke on main roster.

>Lucha Dragons (Kalisto and Sin Cara)
Both are no longer with company

>Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy
One apparently returned to the company in a backstage role (Wesley) while the other went to AEW (Where he is currently injured for a while, at least he married Rhea Ripley).

>The Vaudevillains (Aiden English and Simon Gotch)
Both are no longer with the company

>The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson)
Are now one of the top tag teams in AEW

>American Alpha (Chad Gable and Jason Jordan)
One had to retire due to injury, while the other has actually become a pretty decent mid carder on main roster.

>#DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa)
Reunited on the main roster but nothing much has happened since. One is apparently about to leave the company.

>Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar)
Both have left the company. Didn't they become scammers lol

>Sanity (Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe)
Both have left the company

>The Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish/Adam Cole/Roderick Strong)
All have left and joined AEW and stayed except for Bobby Fish

>Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven)
One actually has stayed and done an okay job on the main roster (But nowhere being a star) while the other has left the company

>War Raiders (Hanson and Rowe)
Are actually still together to this day on main roster. Have even won the tag titles. But they aren't big stars at all.

(1/2)
>>
>>19609054
>Bobby Roode
They gave him a cursed theme, it made fans pop more for the "GLORIOUS" than the guy himself.
It's a shame because I really liked Beer Money and then his crazed gimmick he did against Austin Aries back in TNA.
>>
He will sign with Tony, wrestle one match them have Tony pay for all his surgeries and he won't be seen again.
Don't fucking do it TK. No more WWE LOSERS
>>
>>19609191
>The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins)
Actually seemed like they were getting a decent tag run but have languished since they lost the titles to the Wyatts last year. Haven't done much.

>The BroserWeights (Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne)
One left the company in controversy, the other is still there but is nowhere near a star. Has become another Grande Americano. Also apparently is producing in the now WWE-owned AAA.

>Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel)
One was released while the other has become the next Grande Americano and has been doing a good job with it.

>Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango)
One has become a backstage producer (But returning at one point to wrestle). The other was released but returned once as a part of the NXT-TNA invasion.

>Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch
Both were released. Oney might have returned as a backstage NXT coach (But says he is retired from in-ring competition). The other jobbed on AEW.

>MSK (Wes Lee and Nash Carter)
Both are in TNA now.

(2/2)

Literally only Chad Gable became a star lol. Ludwig might be able to too if he keeps the good work going with Grande Americano.
>>
>>19609211
I honestly think Tony K won't hire him.

Johnny Gargano left the company when Triple H lost power, but Tony never signed him to a contract like he did at the time with Adam Cole, Alister Black, or Andrade.

I think Tony isn't a DIY fan.
>>
>>19609191
>>The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson)
>Are now one of the top tag teams in AEW

Fuck it, North American Champions.

>Adam Cole
Left before main roster debut. Joined AEW, had a string of bad luck injuries. Probably will retire.

>Ricochet
Joined main roster but didn't do much. Only used for high intensity spots. Joins AEW, while shitting on WWE. Has revitalized career with no heel persona and has a stable and title now.

>Gargano
One of Triple H's golden boys but hasn't done much since joining main roster.

>Velveteen Dream
Got released from the company for being a sex pest.

>Roderick Strong
Joined AEW were he is a solid midcarder who puts on good matches.

>Keith Lee
Left after shitty main roster run. Joined AEW, but has run into health problems that has kept him out of action for over a year.

>Damian Priest
Has become a top heel with the Judgement Day

>Leon Ruff
Released from main roster run. Hasn't done much other then indies and jobbing on AEW Dark.

>Bronson Reed
Released and did a NJPW run. Came back and has been a solid midcarder heel. Somewhat elevated with The Vision.

>Isaiah "Swerve" Scott
Released after Vince hated Top Dolla. Became a top star and world champion in AEW.

Literally only Damian Priest out of all of these guys has become a top star in the company. Bronson is a solid midcard heel also.

List of people who are still in developmental even though they debuted in the NXT Black & Gold era. Black & Gold era ends in September 2021 when the NXT 2.0 rebrand happens.

NXT Women's Tag Team Champions, Black & Gold era

>Dakota Kai and Raquel González
One has been released after trying to be decent on the main roster (But kept getting injured). The other has finally hit a stride somewhat being a member of the Judgement Day.

>Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart
Both are gone from the company.

>The Way (Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell)
One has been released from the company and joined TNA and does indie dates. The other is still currently floundering like her husband on the main roster (Just waiting to be released).

>Io Shirai and Zoey Stark
One has become one of the companies top stars, the other is basically used as a henchwoman by other women. The henchwoman is currently out on injury.

So IYO SKY is the only star from this lot.

He hasn't been on the main roster for too long and wasn't making a ton (maybe more than the rest because of his position) in NXT. In TNA he can phone it in and have a much lower work load while getting a nice paycheck.
Another problem with AEW would be how beat up his body is, he'd be expected to work at a very high level since he wouldn't be there for his look and personality. If he did a C2 it could really fuck him up.

>>19609804
I suspect he may have already been offered that, but doesn't want to hang it up yet. This whole thing is surprising to me since I expected Paul to always have his back.

Let's do the NXT Crusierweight Champions from Black & Gold.

>TJ Perkins
Had a weird run in WWE. Released and actually did a decent run in WWE. Apparently might've signed back with WWE as a coach but they might have been temporary?

>The Brian Kendrick
Has been with WWE for years. Released, almost went to AEW but stopped after old Holocaust denial comments came out. Has done some guest producing for WWE since. Might be retired now.

>Rich Swann
Released from WWE, and aside from one domestic violence incident with Su Yung, he's become a top star for TNA.

>Neville
Went to AEW as PAC and joined the Death Riders.

>Tozawa
Has hung on to WWE despite everything. Has become an R-Truth level comedy wrestler.

>Enzo Amore
Fired from WWE after rape accusation. Went to WWE event after he was fired and got dragged out (lol). Once thought to be a big star, now his supposed Jannetty Big Cass is on tv more then him. Still does indie dates but most fans don't care for him.

>Kalisto
Released, does indie stuff now.

>Cedric Alexander
Was released, joined TNA. Was a part of the TNA invasion of NXT but not a big part of it.

>Buddy Murphy
Released and joined AEW as a part of House of Black. Currently injured. Having sex with his wife Rhea Ripley.

>Tony Nese
Released and joined AEW as a basically a glorified heel jobber. Seems to have transitioned to backstage role in AEW.

>Drew Gulak
Had an okay run in NXT. Got called up and even was with Daniel Bryan for a bit, but then turned into a comedy wrestler for the 24/7 title. Rejoined NXT with the No Quarter Crew but was not re-signed after Ronda Rousey accused him of sexual harassment. Now does indie dates.

>Lio Rush
Released from WWE. Became an indie wrestler. Joined AEW but left after Tony Khan's spat with Big Swole. He did more indie stuff but later returned to AEW/ROH. Still does indie dates.

Who?
>>
>>19609921
>Angel Garza
Has been with WWE for awhile, and done okay with LWO and Legado Del Fantasma. Has become a part of AAA again since WWE acquired it.

>JD McDonagh/Jordan Devlin
While he has become a glorified jobber, he's still a member of the Judgement Day and gets good tv time. But is currently out injured.

>El Hijo del Fantasma/Santos Escobar
Having a good run on the main roster with LWO and Legado Del Fantasma. Will probably be a part of WWE-owned AAA.

>Kushida
Released and returned to NJPW.

(2/2)

Out of all of these guys. I think only really Santos Escobar and JD McDonagh have come close to what can be called stars. Tozawa is on tv as a comedy guy like R-Truth.

I can see all of these people getting released except for Dempsey since he’s Regal’s son.

Spears becomes a backstage producer.

ciampa is way better than gargano but he might have the gargano stink on him

Let’s do NXT UK Champions now

>Tyler Bate
On main roster as Grande Americano Bravo under a mask.

Pete Dunne
>Was made into one of Sheamus’ Peaky Blinder goons as Butch. Got his name back and performs also as a Grande Americano. Is also a backstage producer in AAA.

>Walter
Has now become one of WWE’s top heels, Gunther. Retired John Cena

>Ilja Dragunov
Was injured for a bit after coming to the main roster but is now doing solid work as US Champ (although he just lost it).

Obviously Gunter/Walter and maybe Ilja Dragunov are the guys who were stars from this lot.
>>
NXT UK Woman’s Champs

>Rhea Ripley
One of WWE’s biggest stars.

>Toni Storm
Left the company after a humiliating main roster run. While a rocky start at first, she became AEW’s top female stars, and a top star in the company.

>Kay Lee Ray
Name changed to Alba Fyre. Joined a tag team with another Scottish redhead. Tag team partner got released. Is now with Chelsea Green’s stable as the Secret Hervice.

>Meiko Satomura
Already legendary women’s Japanese wrestler. Had the longest run due to COVID. Came to NXT and dropped the title to Mandy Rose. Quietly disappeared and went back to Japan. Retired after 30 years in wrestling.

is lexi the biggest homegrown star that didn’t win a title in nxt?

Chimpa, I'll say it, was good as a singles star even as recently as his main roster tenure but just when he was getting mid card over with good matches after a long period of being seen as a let down on a nights card after Miz feud, bam! Gargano is back and we doing the DIY again.

Though there might be so good things to say about Goblioregano and Chimpa working in matches, DIY itself is such low rent indie show garbage in segments and promos even the Dark Order would cringe watching it. It was dated when it first ended and bringing it back like it was some vanilla midget DX equivalent In popularity was just an anchor to sink Chimpa back to a level he was in for a decade.

Okay, now NXT UK Tag Champions:

>Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson)
Both released and signed to AEW as the same name. They are a minor tag team there.

>Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews
Both released and went to RevPro

>Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang)
Both released after everyone seeing how short they actually are lol. Both are presumably going back to the UK indies.

>Pretty Deadly (Lewis Howley and Sam Stoker)
They actually got to Smackdown and are seen as pretty decent heel tag team. One of them is out injured currently.

>Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate)
One actually has stayed and done an okay job on the main roster (But nowhere being a star) while the other has left the company

>Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter
Both are gone from the WWE.

>Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs
Brooks is somehow still with the company and wrestling in Evolve. Briggs was released and went to NOAH.

So Pretty Deadly are the only stars out of these that are in the company.

>Briggs was released and went to NOAH

I'll do anyone who was in an NXT Takeover main event but never won a championship.

>Tyson Kidd
Had to retire due to career-ending injury. Has had big backstage producer role since then and seems to be a core part of backstage.

>Alexander Wolfe
Was first with Sanity before joining Imperium. Was quietly released and back on the indies.

>Killian Dain
Released in NXT. Did some appearances for AEW and NJPW but not much else. Is married to Nikki Cross.

>Zack Gibson
Other half of Grizzled Young Vets. Also released in NXT. Is in AEW as GYV as a minor tag team. Also makes appearances for NJPW.

>Dijak
Called up to the main roster and given the stink of being a member of Retribution. Returned to NXT after that crashed and burned. Was called up to RAW again but released not long later. Seems to have been a source for SRS of Fightful. Does indie stuff now.

>Pat McAfee
Already famous former NFL player now commentator for WWE. Has his own ESPN show. Doing this for the love of WWE when he really doesn't have to.

>Danny Burch
Was released and went back to the indies.

No other stars here unless you want to count already famous Pat McAfee.
>>
>>19611659
>>19611642
Yeah I fucked that up lol

Josh Briggs
>Briggs is still with the company but got sent to NOAH for an excursion like Omos.

It's pointed out here he's one of the few people from Black & Gold era that's still with the company.>>19609388
>>
>>19610121
Jacy Jayne is the current NXT Women's Champion, so it seems like they want her for something.
>>
>>19608928
If the match with Ilja was his final match in WWE, it was a great way to go out.
>>
>>19610458
I was going to say Becky Lynch but remembered she came back and won the NXT Title lol

So I guess yes, Alexa Bliss is the biggest NXT Black & Gold star who never won the title down there.
>>
>>19608928
Got I hope we get Hunter fumble chants while Tomasso is having dimeless bangers vs pockets
>>
>>19608940
>It remains unknown whether the 40-year-old veteran intends to jump to a competitor like AEW
OMG imagine all the dream matches if that happened!
>>
>>19610339
this title always had a surprisingly prestigious lineage even though it was short
they need to unfuck KLR but besides that all hits no misses (eventually, in the case of toni)
>>
>>19609054
Well to be fair, Roode didn't want to originally wrestle. He wanted to be a producer and work behind the scenes. But they asked him to wrestle and he said fuck it.
>>
>>19608928
>Another NXT Hunter built up and essentially throwing out because he is too retarded to book right
Sad!
>>
>>19608928
>The long and storied tenure

Nigga did we watch the same shows?! This fucking cruiserweight is as dimeless a shitter as the rest of them. Meaning he'll fit perfectly in AEW/ROH.
>>
>>19608959
>>19608955
Non of them are NXT Black and Gold.
>>
>>19608928
Good. Now we can get Dexter and Johnny back together
>>
>>19609397
Confusing shit.

The Elite DESPISE Johnny and Candice. Candice was the long suffering girlfriend of Joey Ryan until she finally had enough of his cheating and left him for Johnny and landed work in NXT, which kept them from being blackballed from the undies and forced the Elite to have to give the appearance of apathy since the couple fell under HHH's protection.

So long as Omega, the Bucks, and Page are at AEW, Johnny will never be hired.

ROH Samoa Joe hypnotized today's bookers. Both Tonikon and Triple K were rubbing their nipples to Joe vs Kobashi and tripping over themselves to push him while Vince had to explain it to them that if he was anything special, he would have signed him back when he was building that legacy instead of making John Cena and Randy Orton into household names. The only indie legend that won him over was Bryan and that's mostly because Bryan passed his test (get buried, stay over. Also have your idea work for someone else which is a weird WWE humiliation ritual that I only vaguely get but dammit, Best in the World and Yes got over even when other people said them.)
>>
i stopped watching nxt when his and garganos neverending story destroyed everything
>>
>>19617093
>Vince had to explain it to them that if he was anything special, he would have signed him back when he was building that legacy
Surely it was that and not because Joe was already signed to TNA less than halfway through 2005
