Drew had his time but Roman was having his years long run so never got a chance to really shine again. When it was time he then immediately had to spend six months putting Punk over. Then he got fucked over, likely by Roman, when his Bloodline hunter/revenge angle was abruptly ended.
Punk and Drew’s feud was a win for everyone involved. Punk needed a big win to reestablish himself and prove that he can still deliver top quality performances. And Drew got a new gimmick which has been great for him over the last year. He hasn’t won the championship but he’s still been in the main event scene for two years now. And just as a fan, it was kino. They had like maybe one segment that wasn’t good.

And based on the way they presented the angle after War Games, with Heyman and the rest of the Vision oblivious of the masked man's identity and motive, I'm predicting that Theory will end up being a Seth sleeper agent sent as part of his own revenge plot on Bron. Theory might end up turning on Bron as soon as tomorrow, but I want another masked man to round out Seth's Counter-Vision. (Note: My headcannon predictions have been especially ass for about 6 months so the safe money is on none of this happening.)
