Does anyone visiting this quality slide thread know who deserves credit for Taka & Funaki's voiceover gimmick? Was this Russo or was he gone by then? This is the sort of dumb but fun and entertaining content that HHH's team doesn't even try to produce.

The 'white guys playing fake luchador' gimmick has been done several times. Edge & Christian as the Conquistadors springs immediately to mind, but I'm sure there are about a dozen more in WWE and the old territories. That's an instance of HHH rehashing something that worked in the past, but I wanna see him greenlight an idea as absurd as Mae Young giving birth to a slimy hand. Everyone who saw that remembers it. It was so ridiculous that it was good and separated the WWE from everything else on TV.
