Life moves on and nobody cares about Cena and Tanahashi already.
>>19622933I feel melancholy about it because I'm being forced to be reminded that nothing is eternal and that this thing I love is being centered around women that have no passion for the business and are only there because they're getting paid.
I care. I care more than you can ever imagine.
>>19622933that's wrestling. that's why pity retirement tours are dumb and only exist to work the marks into buying limited edition shirt and towel combos
>>19622933I don't know how to describe it succinctly; but is it just me or has wrestling felt so homogenized year after year for the past 10-15 years that it's hard for much to stick out. Many of the same people for the most part, especially at the top of the shows. The same sort of sets for almost all shows, PPVs and weekly. The same sort of promos and matches and high spots over and over and over. Overly long 'EPIC' matches on far too many undeserving of anything of the sort, especially between midcarders on regular TV, indy shitters doing the same in bingo halls. Look at a picture from a show in 2010 and it wouldn't look all that much different from one from a week ago.Look at a picture from 1995 and it would look like a different world than 2010. Each 15 years apart, but things aren't changing much anymore.Everything is overrated anymore, the Cena's and Tanahashi's are all but gone from the business at this point. But the fans don't care because to them the next online argument and 5+ star match is all that matters to them when the time for gaslighting about how huge of fans of whoever they were is over.hope that made sense anyway
>>19623012Pro Wrestling doesn’t have an identity anymore. It’s nowhere and nothing
yeah, Cena said that would happen retard.
>>19622933Wrestling is just current thing. Nobody actually rewatches old wrestling or remembers anything besides spots.
