It was a good match. I didn't think there was a ton of story or great logic to it and thought it was similar to other matches they had. Tana retiring of course added to this but they didn't play that up as much as they could (Okada could have been yelling at him to quit and they could have done a lot of teasing that Tana would tap out). It wasn't the best match they could have had, so I wouldn't give it a 5 star rating.

I refuse to argue with retards online because Meltzer baited with his nonsense. It was a great match entertainment wise once it got going, especially due to knowing the limitations of Tanahashi yet seeing him push it so hard one last time, and it had some good false finishes and will mean a lot to Tanahashi fans but arguing that it is one of the 3 or 4 best matches ever in a subjective way is ridiculous although if you are a huge Tana fan then all the power to you. Making a man, who actually did the work, and his retirement all about engagement baiting is just sad.
