It was fun (kek) getting to see him mix it up and even venture out and wrestle in some different styles than he did across his WWE run, and it's not like the crowd didn't take to him. But it's just a square peg/round hole situation. It just doesn't feel right. AEW isn't changing for him obviously and when he's this close to the end of his run he isn't going to undergo some metamorphosis to fit in any better there than he has either. I'd rather see him wrap things up in WWE not just for those reasons, but also to be back under that umbrella with the Edge name again as well
