The 2025 puro company attendance numbers are out!How did your favorite promotion do?ROUGH year for NOAH!
>>19635539i still dont know who Noah is or why there is a title called the “never openweight” championship. doesnt that just imply its closed and cant be challenged for ever?
>>19635539kwab
Gookshit is dead amen
>>19635539lmfao marigold did not draw 20k more people than tjpw
>>19635539>partner with wwe>company dies
Take marigold off that listthey have been proven to lie about attendance regularly
>>19636229Those are the reported attendance numbers, sorry charlie
>>19635539>ROUGH year for NOAH!they're up vs last year though
>>19635539I don't believe these Marigold numbers for a single second.
>>19635539You can reliably cut that marigold number in half
>>19635539If I lived in Tokyo I'd be watching wrestling at Korakuen Hall every night. One thing that's good OP is that financially, CyberFight had a WAY better year than last year. They're still operating at a loss, but it's way, way less than last year, and next year they'll probably be profitable at this rate. I'm glad to hear it because it's been a rough patch for Japanese wrestling, and I really want as many of these companies as possible to be successful. I keep my NJPW World and Wrestle-Universe subscriptions active and try to watch all the big NJPW, NOAH, and Marigold shows. I'd probably watch Stardom too if they had an app but I just don't want to bother with their website. I like just sitting in my chair in my living room and pressing the button on my remote to open my app. But anyway, I hope business for all these companies continues to improve, and I hope they get more and more attention and worldwide viewers.
OP here.Again this is REPORTED ATTENDANCE.If you think Marigold is flubbing it (and they definitely are), that is a valid observation.
>>19635539remember to knock off at least a quarter of the marigold number
Marigold keeps growing, you love to see it
>>19636278Based anon
>>19635539Thanks now I know which promotions to watch to be performative
>>19636245then last year was also rough
>>19636283We're not mad at YOU bro, we're mad at hatman for being a lying sack of shit
AJPW had a slower first half of the year because of the Jun Saito reign but once Kento got the belt and they got Go Shiozaki on board I think AJPW had a strong second half of the year plus Havoc started coming into their own and you're seeing Xyon and Odyssey get huge pops from the crowd. Their New Years show had the biggest attendance AJPW has had in awhile so I'm hoping AJPW keeps up the momentum.
>>19635539>GLEAT with their roster >below shindies like Kyushu, Big Japan, Oz & Michinoku Prowhat the fuck is up with that awful promotion. Why can't they draw shit. If you have the money to employ that roster you've got at least hold more shows so your yearly numbers will be slightly bigger
>>19636716GLEAT had a bad habit of booking venues way bigger than they could ever hope to fill. I also think GLEAT struggled to really carve out an identity for themselves. That's why GLEAT just feels like the dumping ground of all the blacklisted wrestlers who can't go anywhere else.
>>19636735I thought their identity was half wrestling half shootfighting/mma
