You have to understand, Tony used to work with TNA and AAA, and now both of those promotions have ditched him for WWE and talk about how much better everything is now. New Japan is all he has left. If New Japan started working with WWE, if they even gave the impression that they're cool with WWE and people can enjoy WWE and NJPW both, Tony couldn't handle the blow to his ego.
