>500 wrestlers, 90 stables, 80 tag teams, 70 titles, 30 PPVs, 12 shows, but only 4 matches per event
>>

A low number of matches per event is why WWE can't stop winning, you clueless smark.
>>
>>19650974
Soon, there will be no matches at all and the WWE Universe will even more!
>>
>>19650974
then why employ so much talent? why is nearly the entire full time roster made up of indie workrate shitters and "athletic" women who can't cut a convincing promo or tell a story while they rely on old farts and part-timers to carry the segments?

good, I don't miss the long ass PPVs

Someone should do the comparisons between say 2002 PPV entrance/match/highlight package times vs 2025.

>can't stop winning
winning what? I sure hope you don't think it's ratings? Maybe retard prize or sloppy shop of the year.
>>
>>19651019
>then why employ so much talent
so other companies can't have them
>>
>>19651114
>le sloppy shop
You retards are STILL saying this 5 and a half years later??
>>
>>19651099
The PPVs are 2 night events so they're even longer now
>>
>>19651135
How many WWE wrestlers got injured last week again? When was the last time WWE went a show without a botch?
>>
>>19651019
>why would a wrestling company employ a lot of wrestlers
really makes you think
>>
>>19651138
only Wrestlemania and Summerslam are which doesn't matter either way because you don't have to sit trough it at once with the 2 nights

That's the point.
>4 matches per event means that the big ad spots aren't diluted and you can charge more for when there's more eyes on the product
>this means the big ad spots are on the non-woman matches too by the way
>WWE figured out how to squeeze as much ad time out of the preshow/build ups so lower priority ad spots can exist at lower prices with more abundance
>they present figures on "real" viewer figures for the PPV and preshow
>youtube live preshow numbers are helping to bolster their negotiating for said ad spots
>people keep buying tickets at the current prices and they can always take them lower because they're already inflated beyond belief
>have no competition
>media deals guarantee safety nets
>>19650974
WWE won when WCW died, you stupid mark. There hasn't been a competitor since.
>>
Bring back the 6 minute PPV match.

Not a single wrestler signed to AEW or WWE had 100 matches last year, in fact not a single one had over 70 matches.
You can't develop into even a halfway decent talent when you work twice a month. Wrestling is dead.
