>>

I'M GONNA ROLL YOUR SORRY ASS OUT ON THE STREET
YOU USED TO BE ON YOUR FEET!
WELL THAT WAS THEN, NOW YOUR LEGS ARE DEAD MEAT!
WALKING WAS SWEET!
STUCK IN YOUR SEAT!
(CAN'T GET UUUUP) WHAT YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?
(CAN'T GET UUUUP) SIT IN THE SAME SPOT?
(CAN'T GET UUUUP) NOW WHAT YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?
(CAN'T GET UUUUP) 'BOUT TO ROLL YOUR SORRY ASS, NOW WHAT YOU GONNA DO?
>>
>Undertaker brutally spikes Hulk Hogan's head with a tombstone, nearly killing him
Gets 30 year push
>D'Lo gives some jobber a little iggy, the guy was so unbothered by it he got married three days later
Buried forever.
This is the face of racism in wrestling.

he was over with most of the audience, even if he was in a tiny segment or quick match he would find a way to make it more entertaining than expected

Danger At The Door was the best white-crowd hip-hop track you could ever hope for, fucking LOVED that shit.

It was a sign of how bereft the WWF's midcard was from early 1998 up until Chris Jericho signs in mid-1999 that D-Lo Brown was not only given the IC belt but also the Eurocontinental dual belts.
The product was hot but only because of the main events.
>>
i remember hearing an old interview with him where he was explaining how he broke in and it’s insane how unprepared he was training wise and already being on tv. he did well.
>>
>>19660199
The fact that he always wore something to hide his physique should have been a clue
>>
>>19657917
His Neck moves were Kino

d'lo is permanently over. even droz doesn't hate the guy
>>
>>19660265
droz is dead.

>has a signature neck shuffle
>breaks your neck and leaves you as a quadriplegic
was it a work or a shoot?
>>
>>19657928
fpbp
D'Lo is the man
>>
I did not care for his fat man frog splash. Signature neck thing he did was funny though.
>>
>>19660198
Wasn't just because D-Lo was Russo's boy
>>
>>19657917
The heel interview he gave to WWF Magazine right after he won the European belt worked me into a shoot
>>
>>19659960
Still makes me kek to this day;

D-Lo got a fucking chest protector over. Val Venis and Godfather are better exampls if guys who were over more because of their gimmicks hitting the zeitgeist.
>>
>>19661355
Remember when he had a "European Champion" section in the WWF Magazine where he'd dress up as a different European each month and give you facts about France or Denmark or whatever? That was dimes.

factually wrong, that was the only time the midcard and even the undercard were somewhat over
>>
>>19662613
Oh yeah did any of those shitters ever make it to the main event?

Godfather was involved in the main event of WM 7 as Papa Shango
>>
>>19663468
D'Lo would have probably at least been a perennial IC level guy without the Droz shit and then the guy after Russo hating him.
>>
>>19663457
This is accurate, D'Lo was good in the ring and had enough charisma to make it into the main event in due time, dunno if champ material though but definitively could have been a main event player, I see him being a solid A class act like an Eddie Guerrero or a Orton. Fuck by current standards he would be a 30+ times champ and headlined like 90 wrestlemania kek

it's subtle in ring psychology like this that wrestlers don't get today
>>
>>19664423
I don't know if he was a main event guy because I don't know if he could cut a promo all that well but he was talented enough that he would have been an upper-midcard guy ala Kofi or someone on that level.
>>
The other day it was said in another thread that:
D'Lo > Swerve Strickland
This is a true statement tbqh family.
>>
>>19663457
This is true. So called main eventers today would love to get the pop D-Lo, Godfather or Ken Shamrock got back in the day. And I was a D-Lo mark and when the Droz incident happened it made me sad in a few different ways, one of them being that I worried that Vince would stop his push and move up the card because of it. I still think the running Liger Bomb in on the internal banned moves list as I haven't seen anyone do it in forever.
