My EWR women's hardcore fed won the war against WWE last month, but they're seeing a slight resurgence this month.

Does anyone book old school territory wrestling?
>>
>>19665516
No but I did once play that one mod that takes place in the carny days for a bit. That was fun.
>>
>>19665516
i did a few years ago and only remember some of it. i was booking for the st. louis territory, which was the st. louis wrestling club. there wasn't a particular reason why i chose that one, i just chose at random. from the little i remember, i recall signing alot of the japs and made a stable where they were evil invaders led by killer khan against the home grown talent led by funk. i can't for the life of me remember what decades the territory mod roughly was, because think i remember seeing the old JWA logo in the save but they were defunct after the 70s, so i think i signed a bunch of free agent randos from them as the jobbers and grabber wrestlers from AJPW as the mid and upper card wrestlers to be part of this invader stable. my old pc is packed up and i think the save might still be on there. i might get it out and see if it still runs and possibly post some of it here if i still have the save.

Currently playing my CVerse Euro game.
>Michael Gregory is the European champion, managed by his girlfriend Jasmine Perlot
>Currently feuding with Lauro Giordano supported by his New Roman Empire faction
>Apparently between TEW 2020 and TEW IX the New Roman Empire became a babyface faction
>It's fine for Lauro Giordano & Giancarlo Giabroni
>However, Alessandro Giordano is clearly a much better heel than a babyface, on the other hand his still pretty limited in ring compared to his faction buddies.
>honestly consider turning him and having him feud with Giancarlo

I've played TEW on and off through the years but think I would like to try EWR. What should I know beforehand?
>>
Why is it called Extreme Warfare Revenge when it's not extreme, there's no warfare and there's no revenge?
>>
I remember any combination of CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Chris Hero, and The Briscoes was money and would always get all parties involved over.
>>
>>19665617
Please do

>>19666585
It’s so much easier but there’s a lot less depth. Wrestling skills are broken into only three categories and if you match up wrestlers with similar skills they’ll put on good matches every single time. If they’re world class wrestlers, then they’ll put on 95% to 100% classics every time, even in tv. It’s perfect for those with light autism because you can fantasy book to your heart’s content without getting too deep in the weeds with a hundred game mechanics.
>>
Are there any forums to pick up data that aren't teeming with faggots?

Has anyone tried booking like Russo?
>>
I have TEW 2016. Are any of the newer versions better? What important features am I missing?
>>
>>19666606
I dunno.

Why is it called All Elite Wrestling when it’s not All, it’s not Elite, and it’s not Wrestling?

Some of life’s mysteries.
>>
>>19667692
you could just try the demos and see if you like them. Some features added
>being allowed to play as developmental promotions
>Attributes System: Replaced the binary "personality" traits from 2016 with a comprehensive attribute system, allowing for detailed worker characteristics like "Straight Edge," "Selfish," or "Loyal".
>Booking Team & Inner Circle: TEW IX introduced a Booking Team where assistants provide creative ideas, and an Inner Circle system that assigns locker room roles like "Enforcer" or "Morale Officer".
>Creative Meetings: A new "game-within-a-game" where you can buy "booking aids" such as creative finishes, angle ideas, and storylines using Creative Energy.
>India added as a region
>ability to designate events as "B-Shows," preventing lower match ratings from negatively impacting your overall promotion prestige.
>>
Have any of you tried rebooking Invasion

Booked my first month with SWF. First PPV tanked so hard that it set the company back a size. All I did was book matches for my storylines and a few showcase matches. EWR really does not prepare you for all the extra mechanics in these newer games.

Most mod makers ignore it. At least the real life mod makers. They don't even make TV stations so you can't even naturally expand there.
>>
>>19668556
Aren't the mod makers all woke trannies anyway?
>>
Is it just me or is WWE2K GM mode kinda easy? I've done two runs and while there was a few ups and downs i've won both my runs pretty handily without having to even use all my cards or have much risk of injury on my guys. I'm going to crank it up to the max difficulty with minimum money and see what that does but i've done the normal and 2nd highest difficulty and the only difference was more wrestlers demanding shit and slightly higher risk of injury which are all fairly easy to navigate.

In TEW IX, however they chose to go with a hyper realistic art style for the workers (pic related) I just prefer the more cartoonish AI images that users made for TEW 2020 >>19671804 I feel like that resembles the old art more than the default TEW IX one.
>>
>>19673834
It definitely is, especially in short bursts (i.e. use a database from the 90s and book Mania season for that year). Or for me, I have some long term games where I just return every once in a while a book a month or two. It just doesn’t support really extended sessions because the lack of depth and mechanics will really become apparent. But if you just want to hop in and book the road to Wrestlemania 14, it’s a blast.
>>
>>19675737
this is how i play ewr also. I hop in and load up one of my saves and some of my external editors to clean up a few things that happen and book a few shows (usually a month or 2 and about 4-6 shows) and than put it down for a bit.
>>
>>19668566
I don’t know. I don’t really dwell into their personal lives or non wrestling opinions.

going to load this bish up in a moment and open a fed as ive been in observe mode mostly (2016) in game world and letting things play out.

It's from Fire Pro Returns and not Fire Pro World's Promoter mode, but I have a huge territory era save that I used to fantasy book on pen and paper with friends. The way we would do it is each friend was in charge of their own territory and we would each "book an event." We would keep track of what and who we booked and wins/loses, and after everyone booked their events and watched it, we would write on a strip of paper who's event was more entertaining; the obvious rule was we couldn't vote for ourselves. If the person who won's promotion already holds the NWA title, they can choose who from the other territories they want to defend it against during the next event, and if the person who won's promotion doesn't hold the NWA title, the person who holds the title has to come into the winner's promotion and wrestle for them for the title. I managed to rip the roster save of it from my ps2 memory card and have it now on my ps2 emulator.

I wish there was a way we would be able to do something like that here if there were enough anons interested.

Here is the rosters.

https://sendvid.com/nshv7jjz
>>
started a new save on ewr using the december roster update. aj lee was listed as a worker/aj mendez as a writer. edited mendez into dixie carter & made her an owner. started the game with deadlock, made dixie the owner and changed the name to dcw. clicked next day 19 times.

got rusev, james storm, pco, danhausen, the bunny and did first event.
rusev beat jake something for heavy title
pco & danhausen beat mxm for tag belts, bunny helped them cheat.
sent tape to smallest network, 0.12 max rating
click next day until end of the month, accepted tv offer; graveyard slot

storm, rusev, pco, danhausen, bunny sign written contracts. jake & mxm said no and were released. now i'm just replacing open contract guys for cheap jobbers that will sign a written contract. for the cost of 1 jd drake month a month, i can get 4 jobbers doing 5 matches each.
>>
Do you think Tony has used one of these?
>>
>>19678623
Guaranteed
>>
>>19678623
His early AEW booking was pretty much how you would book TEW if you were min-maxing, particularly how he used Dark to spam wins for anyone he cared about. Yeah, he's 100% played these.
>>
>>19676358
Arsenic is a must, I like some light cheese in my game just to keep the RP engaging. I almost always take some no-name female worker from the scrap heap and turn her into a 100 CHR jezebel who constantly stirs the pot and keeps storylines interesting
>>
>>19678623
Absolutely. He owns a football club and admitted he used Football Manager when scouting talent. TEW is basically Football Manager for wrestling so I imagine he would be using it much the same way

The current tag feud I'm running
>Lauro Giordano & Giancarlo Giabroni was in a Italian-centric stable, The New Roman Empire, with Alessandro Giordano
>Lauro is the European champion while Giancarlo & Alessandro serves as the tag team
>Alessandro turns on the two others and ensures that Lauro lose the European title
>Fast forward a couple of months, Lauro & Giancarlo has found success as a tag team (The Legionaries)
>Into the scene bursts two new, young Italian wrestlers, Marcello Ricci & Gianfranco Morelli, they're model themed (gimmicks are Catwalk Cocky and Standard Model) so I named the Milano Magnifico.
>Marcello is clearly primed as the next Italian star as he's only 33 compared to Lauro who's 42
>>
>>19679320
Giabroni is great did you come up with that?

finally making some progress with my local backyard fed. finally got above 50 people.
>>
>>19681262
Same.
To me sometimes less is more, which is why I always preferred EWR as well,
>>
>>19681789
In the audience? I started a girls-only lewd wrasslin outfit in Japan and first show pulled over 50 and never dipped. The ceiling is gonna hit hard, though, and I'll have to go legit at some point.
>>19682788
If things were a little more streamlined, it would be easier. I lose track of basically everything and need to take notes to keep shit in order.
>>
>>19665195
Has anyone tried simulating a Monday Night War between WWE and AEW?
>>
>>19678623
He's openly said so. His promotion was called
WBW (world's best wrestling) and had to be talked out of calling AEW that. He's also said his TV show was called Dynamite.
What isn't confirmed but I can 100% guarantee is that he either had a player character or made a worker with maxed out stats called Hologram.
>>
>>19683304
I wonder who he had on his roster. Obviously he probably had top guys from ROH and PWG, but I wonder if he had someone signed who's in WWE that he'd never be able to sign IRL, like Orton for example. He for sure had punk and the bucks. Can't you get match reports/reviews in the game from Meltzer? You just know his goofy ass always booked based on the reports.
>>
>>19678623
I'm convinced Tony used TEW to book earlier AEW shows. It would explain why the entire cards used to be posted a week in advance
>>
>>19680311
No, the workers are existing CVerse workers already.
>>
The concept behind my current game is that Russian pro wrestlers, including those from former Eastern Bloc nations, have been recalled/summonsed at the behest of the Russian government to participate in RFP Rossiyskaya Federatsiya Pro'resslinga Liga.

The RFP Chempion Mira is Rusev, Dragunov & Dzoker are the tag tournament winners, and Vor Bykov's gang are dominating the scene.

Constant challenges from American technicians and mechanics form a 'ringpost diplomacy,' with both sides vying for geopolitical dominance. Constant manipulation of the European market to control talent and damage growth of other promotions are frequent tactics of RFP committee.
>>
>>19683532
dooooo it! book it
>>
>>19683532
This sounds pretty cool, actually has me wondering what real life wrestling would look like if it was big in Russia and China like it is in the US.
>>
>>19684068
Russia has too much real martial arts and China too much fake martial arts for wrestling to ever take hold there. Brazil is the same boat as Russia. The only densely populated country we get is India.
>>
>>19683169
yeah i did that in fire pro, but the problem is that AEW just doesn't have enough popular names to compete. when I did it, the AEW fed was just Sting beating everyone else. he had some good deathmatches with moxley though.
>>
>>19683360
Scott Keith, CRZ, Scotsman, and the Dames(?)
>>
>>19683360
>I wonder who he had on his roster. Obviously he probably had top guys from ROH and PWG, but I wonder if he had someone signed who's in WWE that he'd never be able to sign IRL, like Orton for example
He definitely had Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio in his fantasy fed, and probably Drew too but Drew wrestled in PWG
>>
>>19684909
For me it’s The Dames
>>
Finally wrapped my head around how to book. Still only getting show ratings of 81-86 but at least it’s not tanking my company.
>>
>>19685754
getting better ratings than I am right now. im booking shit shows at small and pulling in 40-50s at best.

In Fire Promoter I have a "zombie" death match fed where everyone is supposed to be a zombie except for one human who is the new rookie coming in to work his way up. I used that secret button combination with it to start with an unlimited roster size and $10,000,000, but I might start a fresh version with the standard roster size and money.

Here's my Wrestlemania 18 card I promised a few threads ago

>Austin vs Hogan(c)
Doing this instead of Hogan vs Rock and it's the true end of WCW after Vince brings in the NWO at Survivor Series to help Team WWF win and promises them title shots in return
>Rock vs DDP(c)
I became a DDP mark after going back and watching Nitro and he deserved better dammit
>Undertaker vs Sting
Nuff said
>HHH & HBK vs Nash & Hall(c)
Trips is gonna turn and form The Kliq baby
>Foley vs Raven (ECW title. Funk as ref)
Love Raven and giving him a mega push, simple as. Also starting ECW 2.0 as a development of sorts after this show
>Shane vs Vince (Cinematic shit)
Just tying up lose ends from the Invasion
>Kurt Angle vs Ric Flair (US title)
>Kane & RVD vs Dudleys vs Hardyz vs Storm & Awesome (WCW & ECW tag titles)
All WCW titles will be turned into WWF ones after this show and I do a brand split
>Jericho vs Edge vs Benoit vs Eddie vs Booker vs Christian vs Rhyho vs Regal
Basically an Intercontinental and EU unification ladder match
>Steiner, Savage, Luger, Big Show and everyone else not already booked number 1 contender Battle Royal

I'm not exactly thrilled with the tag four way, ladder match or Battle Royal but I can't really think of anything better right now. I'm only in September so maybe things will change.
>>
>>19685902
Well I’m playing as SWF so it’s a lot easier. Put Rocky Golden in angles to start and end the show and it does a lot of the heavy lifting for you.
>>
>>19686530
I've had this same kind of match but for Invasion: Hall & Nash vs Road Dogg & Billy Gunn. X-Pac interferes and looks to be helping DX but then turns and helps Hall & Nash get the win. I also had HHH vs DDP with DDP getting the win.
