>gets go away heat in two different mediums
He went from being a naturally funny guy to completely forced. I used to like him
>>19682541massive jannetty to big dimes corso
>>19682541FUCK. No. Please don't make him more available to do WWE stuff
>The Athletic a bunch of subhuman turbo leftist cunts who gives a fuck
>>19682600>pretends to like McAfee to own the libs
>>19682555This. He was a fresh breath of air on commentary when he started because those were the days when everyone was reciting scripts to a tee and walking on eggshells in fear of Vince. Meanwhile this guy didn't give a single fuck. Then that all changed and everyone else is more relaxed which makes for a better show only he still doesn't give a fuck and instead of it being fun it just drags everything down. Honestly all of these outside sports guys they keep trying to force into wrestling commentator have been shit. Jimmy Smith? Was that the guy? McAfee. I can't stand Tessasnore. Just stick with people in the industry. They're there for a reason
>>19682607i would suck cock to own the libs
it's rare to see a face that is simultaneously so soulless and punchable
The best thing Gunther ever did was making McAfee lose his smile
>>19682607Didn’t McAfee say last year he donates to LGBTABCDEFG organizations?
>>19682610>fresh breath of air>to a tee
he's kind of like IRL flanderization if you think about it. watch older patt stuff and you'll see what I mean.
>>19682541I don't like when Pat uses zoomer slang, it makes me cringe, if he stopped doing that I would like him more. Still we need another good color commentator, Corey is fine but not cutting it. WWE should bring back Joey Styles.
Im boycotting ESPN until they fire his annoying ass.
>>19682917Imagine watching E!SPN or pro wrestling.
>>19682541>The AthleticOmegalol
>>19682541>"""Survey"""
I can't tolerate his voice, it's incredibly grating and he's legit one of the worst color commentators ever unless you're strictly watching wrestling drunk with a bunch of retards that sound just like him, then you feel right a home.He legit made me switch to the spanish commentary last time he was on a PPV
>>19682541Pat wins the RumbleWants a tag title matchMonths of teasing UndertakerBray's ghost injures Undertaker's spiritPat & Vince defeat the Wyatts
>>19682600This. It's incredible how gay they make sports seem.
>>19682596oh fuck. No, fucking anyone but him. Put Tozawa on color before him.
>>19682878there isn't anything wrong with either of these though. first one is ordered weird for sure kek but it's still the same meaning. second one is right
>>19682541This guy is shit. He thinks people are there to listen/see him when he’s on commentary. Remember the Royal Rumble a year or two ago? Drunk fuck was singing CM punks theme on commentary and shit. Guy is cringe as fuck
>>19684419Sports are inherently gay. Anything that makes you more fuckable in the eyes of average homos is gay.
>>19682610>Just stick with people in the industry. They're there for a reasonMichael Cole and his play by play disciples were broadcast journalists brought in to be generic sports entertainment commentators. They're not wrestling people, don't have the knowledge or unique style or legit sports announcer sound of a Jim Ross or Mauro Ranallo. Tessitore at least has the voice of a legit sports announcer.
>>19684430at least tozawa could tell some funny stories about torturing monkeys
>>19682541I always tags posts seriously that start with Uh oh and end with emojis.
>>19684588Well yeah no shit. Everyone starts somewhere. Steve Austin was a football player before he was a wrestler. Would you say he's not someone "in the industry"? My point is more stop taking established commentators from other sports just because they have a name already and build up the people who are already there. They never should have fucking fired Tom Phillips. Graves should be even more prominent of a voice than he already is. Vic Joseph is doing great work in NXT and should be a main roster commentator. Him and Booker have a really good dynamic. Barrett's doing surprisingly solid work. It's not that they don't have guys to do the job. It's that WWE keeps trying to shoehorn in these other guys just to be like 'look we've got this guy from ___ on our broadcast team' and it's shit
>>19684778>and it’s shitMaybe, but you don’t know it’ll be shit until it’s actually shit. Given what WWE is trying to do (which in case people here aren’t paying attention, is GROW by attracting NEW fans not superserve an existing fanbase), it makes sense why they would identify outsiders (McAfee, Jelly Roll, Logan Paul, Tessitore, Speed, Travis Scott, etc) and see if it works. Results will be mixed, but strategically it’s fine.
>>19685073>Maybe, but you don’t know it’ll be shit until it’s actually shit. You're definitely right about this. At the same time given the track record of the handful of guys they've already tried this with as soon as I saw the Tessatore announcement I did in fact immediately think it would be shit. Could I have been wrong? Big time. Of course. But enough times of the same thing make it pretty easy to guess. It's not even to say these guys are 'bad' commentators altogether. Just with wrestling. Pro wrestling needs a certain kind of voice. And it takes a while to build and develop that voice. I'm all for any of them taking the time to get those reps in and put in that work to do so, but I shouldn't be subjected to it live each week while it's shitting up the main shows and absolutely killing any big moment happening
I believe in mcfee
>>19685116Tessatore absolutely does not work on commentary but SHINES in the interviewer role and in my opinion does great work hosting the PLEs.
>>19685606Great point. For sure. It's not that he has no place there, he's just severely miscast. That backstage interviewer type of tone is for sure more his ballpark. He's good on pre and post show stuff too. But live commentary he just sucks the life out of it
>>19682648This was MOTN still LMAO
>>19684446since when is the phrase "to a tee". it's "on a tee" as in something is so perfect that it should be put on a t-shirt
