>>19690869The Community Creations & Extensive Creation Suites will always be cool and having a stacked roster is always a bonus to the playing experience but I feel like those are the only things 2k have done right since they’ve acquired the IP, the in ring gameplay never matched up to the excitement I had with 2k14, SVR07, All Stars & SYM. I still think 2k16 is the best game in the WWE 2k series, with 2k19 being #2

There's just something about it that lacks excitement. I'm not even saying it needs to be cartoony or arcadish. I actually prefer the simulation style. 2K19 was great for example. >>19690941I get where you're coming from. In terms of the spirit of the showcase mode itself that does go against it. They've been treating that mode differently recently. Like that one year with Cena. Instead of it being historically accurate to Cena matches they just had you play as everyone else and beat Cena. Which admittedly is far more interesting to play through than a game mode of lolcenawins. I didn't touch the Bloodline one so I can't say much there. But this seems like more of that kind of thing. The mode went to shit regardless once they stopped motion capturing all of the cutscenes and just inserted lazy video clips instead

What gameplay changes are in this that would make me switch from 25? I can do intergender matches in 25 now so my autistic video game fights of Tifa and cloud vs Zidane and Vivi can already happen, dunno what 26 could really bring to table
