just watched darby vs pac and some of the bumps darby took were NASTY, why doesn't anyone try to reason with darby? this shit is not sustainable in the long run
>>
>>19708808
he grew up in skateparks he knows how to do that shit
>>
Darby is just a self destructive retard like Jeff Hardy. He would be doing the same bumps for a hot dog and a handshake
>>
>>19708808
Aewtists and E-gods finna don't care about that lil faggot, we want to see a nigga die in the ring and he's our best bet.
>>
>>19708811
plus hes a jackass guy. he'll always throw caution to the wind for footage
>>
>>19708873
yeah, he's basically a trained stuntman
the shit he does in his free time is way more dangerous than his matches

>>
He’s gonna end up being this generation’s Droz and I can’t wait for the cope
>>
>>19708808
when did wrestling fans become such performative concerned little bitches?
>>
>>19708893
When they could endlessly console war over it.
>>
>>19708880
i wonder if they tapped him for the new jackass movie? be crazy not to
>>
AEW just isn't a serious promotion. A serious promoter wouldn't let him do that stuff because if he gets injured, he can't make you money anymore.
>>
>>19708907
He was supposed to be in the last one, so maybe. It's too bad the stars didn't align better and that Darby wasn't around when stuntslop was at it's peak, he'd be a household name.
>>
>>19708944
what the fuck are you talking about, at wrestlings peak everyone was braining eachother with steel chairs daily
it's not a serious industry and never will be. i dont care how many wall street terms paul nose spits out in his suit he's still a carny.
>>
>>19708893
>why dont you care about the wellbeing of others like we REAL MEN did in the 90s
kek youre really epic and edgy bro
>>
>>19708808
i don't care
>>
>>19708893
Right around here
>>
>>19708808
Can’t reason with the unreasonable. Daniel Bryan was told to stop wrestling, he didn’t listen, and now he has a neck injury.
>>
I genuinely think he wants to die, like every adrenaline junkie guy usually pussies out and gives up after coming close to death or after getting heavily injured like 2 or max 3 times, yet this guy just keeps going even when it's clear he's not enjoying the pain.
Probably the only thing he wanted more to kill himself in the ring is to climb Everest which he already did.
>>
>>19709137
He doesn't want to die. He has no fear of death. If you think about that for a minute it's really very disturbing.
>>
>>19708808
Skateboarders who start skating younger can take a shit ton of bumps. Darby has less injury time than most modern wrestlers.
>>
>>19708966
Technically, no. When wrestling wss a bigger sport nationally and drawing more money in average, chairs shots were all worked. Territory guys knew how to gimmick then right. For some reason dipshits decided to start taking shoot headshots. Real, normal, well adjusted white men didn't need to scramble their brains for reactions. That's some dumb chinaman tactics, like Shibata braining himself with shoot headbutts, like that puro retard shit where they can't build feuds so they have to stiff each other constantly. If you combined the safety of the 80s with the lighter schedule of today, maybe with a few more dates, you'd have the least injured pros of all time.

all men die, but few truly live
>>
>>19708808
I don't mind the liveleak bait spots, I just think that he should only do it on PPVs because that's all he has, once people get too used to it and stop popping as much then it'll be too late for Darby to switch to a safer style

>yeah, he's basically a trained stuntman
he is, he's even licensed in the state of CA to operate a flamethrower (because CA requires you to have a license for that for some fucking reason)
>>
>>19709423
>once people get too used to it and stop popping as much
That doesn't happen. See: RVD, the Hardys etc.
>>
>>19708993
I like that in retaliation, the renamed War Games: The Match Beyond to Blood & Guts.
>>
>>19709436
>RVD, the Hardys
True, but you must also remember that these guys are also insanely charismatic as well. Darby just isn't on that level, once people stop cheering for his spots I doubt he has anything else.
>>
>>19709415
everyone from that era is popping pain pills on the daily or dead
>>
>>19709467
>these guys are also insanely charismatic as well. Darby just isn't on that level
His short films are better than any of their promos, which make up for his lack of promo ability (he's gotten a lot better since working with Sting). I shoot hope he transitions into directing.
