I think the problem comes with that it was an awful show and it'll decline afterwards. But the TV was cheap, so I doubt they care. But they had a chance to put on a really solid show, gain some buzz and they just did the opposite. The WWE deal is and was an albatross, they lost a ton of talent to them in the year leading up to it, traded one of their wrestlers for an AJ Styles promo (???) instead of a match. At least AEW put their big guys on their show and got a few extra eyes for them albeit a one off.
