Quick vibe checksHangman associating with Marty doesn’t invalidate him or his long held beliefs. Hangman seems like a guy that tries to see the good in people, and if Marty actually made penance, then forgiveness makes sense. Standing by your friends when they mess up feels like a pretty normal human reaction especially if you were close to them before the incident. You have a guy who just went out there and took Moxley to his limit, and instead of capitalizing on that momentum, he just disappears from TV. At the very least, you could’ve given Kyle some mic time in the middle of the ring and let him say he pushed Moxley further than anyone expected, let him frame it as a turning point, something. That’s basic follow up.This has become a pattern with Tony. He’s consistently bad at capitalizing on moments that naturally elevate people. Big match happens, crowd buys in, and then… nothing. No storyline, no character development, no direction. The momentum just evaporates.Also I heard that a lot of people in AEW wanted Tony to sign that Irish group that got let go from NXT. Those people that pushed for that should be fired immediately. Also, both WWE and AEW need a background check department.
