I actually was a big fan of Ken and hope the best for him (he was screwed by injuries and politics) but I don't think he's gonna get big dimes Maven numbers on da 'Tube.

How does Maven do it why is he so dimes
>>

>his gimmick is the he says his name...twice..

Maven knows how to be approachable to the normies. The Home Shopping Network hired him for a reason.

I like Ken's channel, but there are many things that he has to improve. Video titles, production, audio, thumbnails, etc. He has promised to release a full breakdown into the heat he had with Cena an Orton in 2009 when he reaches 100k subs. That will make him pop some good numbers.

The guy who is partnered with him and first pitch him the channel idea is also responsible for Maven's success.

>when he reaches 100k subs
kek youre gonna be waiting for a while buddy

He linked up with someone who knew how to game the algorithm.

Look at the thumbnail of the video he just uploaded. He'll be getting a higher view traffic soon. 16.3k is not that far from 100k subs. If everyone on this board subscribed, he'd get 100k in a week.

It's great seeing him be a douchebag again in JCW.

This last reply sums it up. Maven has always had the sort of natural charisma that exhibits an easy warmth and likability that, while few possess, better serve a career as a broadcaster than a pro wrestler. Ken is the opposite. He had the sort of smug, arrogant, charismatic bravado that could quickly capture the attention of wrestling audiences with his mic skills twenty years ago, but those skills don't translate when you take away the audience, his youth, and the potential of a once-promising wrestling career. Maven's skillset prevents him from coming across as a "has-been" or "never-was" because he's always confidently engaged with the camera lens in the present moment. The sad man in OP's image simply can't pull this off as he speaks on what could have been long ago. The numbers will always reflect this. The other former wrestlers who have begun uploading videos with the intention of replicating Maven's success are going to run into the same problem. His amiable Home Shopping Network camera presence can't be taught.
