Can they please stop running Ryogoku KFC Hall? I have no idea if the place is just cursed but every show from there is shit and the crowd always seems dead plus the dull-ass low lighting.

>Ring announcer Rise Shirai read out the usual notices, after which Super Sasadango Machine—PR ambassador for the March 29 Ryōgoku Kokugikan event—made his appearance. Saying, “To ensure the success of the Ryōgoku Kokugikan show, I want everyone to take part in PR activities, and I’ll be giving out various assignments,” he called Manager Tetsuya Koda to the ring.>Sasadango then made his request: “I want you to debut a big guest who isn’t a pro wrestler—someone with enough drawing power to fill Ryōgoku Kokugikan on their own.”>Following Sasadango’s lead, Manager Koda declared his pledge: “I, Tetsuya Koda, vow that at Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling’s ‘GRAND PRINCESS ’26’ on March 29, I will book an incredibly huge guest and casually have them make their pro-wrestling debut.”>After the match, Misao took the microphone.>Misao: “I have an important announcement for everyone. I, Hyper Misao, will be facing the team of Yuka Sakazaki & KONOSUKE TAKESHITA at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan event in March! And I’ve already decided on my tag partner! It’s this person!”>At that moment, ‘Immigrant Song’ hit—but it seemed Sasadango hadn’t been told anything beforehand.>Misao: “It’s been decided!”>Sasadango: “Aren’t Sakazaki and TAKESHITA supposed to face Shingo Takagi and Natsupoi?”>Misao: “Shut up!” (hits Sasadango with a palm strike)>Sasadango: “At least make it Utashiro-san!”>Misao: “Shut up!” (another palm strike) “Wouldn’t it feel better to fight and win with the most incomprehensible tag team in pro wrestling—Hyper Misao and Super Sasadango Machine?”>Sasadango: “What is going on?! I don’t really get it, but where is all this overflowing confidence coming from?!”>Misao: “Before that, there’s something I want to say to you, Sasadango-san! I have something to point out!”>Sasadango: “What is it?”>Misao: “Weren’t you kind of reluctant to come to this Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling venue today?”>Sasadango: “That’s not true! What are you basing that on?”
>>19756768>Misao: “You posted something on X, didn’t you? Like, ‘Everyone already knows about it, so doesn’t it kind of not matter if I go?’”>Sasadango: “Everyone here already knows there’s a Ryōgoku show coming, right?”>Misao: “And I’m grateful they do—but do you think everyone here already has a ticket?”>Sasadango: “Fair point!”>Misao: “Exactly! Maybe today, even though everyone knows, only one ticket gets sold. But if that one precious fan comes, and you can’t cherish that single fan, how can you say you’ll ever sell out Ryōgoku Kokugikan? We want to fill Ryōgoku with the accumulation, accumulation, accumulation of single precious fans! And Sasadango-san, the fact that such a weak comment slipped out—doesn’t that mean you’ve got something weighing on you? I can see right through you. You do, don’t you? Hand on your chest. I’ve figured it out.” “Mr. Sakai—ah, Sasadango-san—you’ve taken over your family’s metal mold factory, you’re doing entertainment work, wrestling in DDT during the day, traveling back and forth between Niigata and Tokyo. And now you’ve been entrusted with being the PR ambassador for Tokyo Joshi Pro. Lately, haven’t you been worrying about just who you really are?”>Sasadango: “I’ve been worrying about it constantly. Being PR ambassador worries me the most.”>Misao: “Do you know what ‘PR ambassador’ for Tokyo Joshi Pro really means?”>Sasadango: “I thought it meant someone who does PR…”>Misao: “It means someone who stands in the Pro-wrestling Ring—P and R!”>Sasadango: “S-stands in the pro-wrestling ring?!”>Misao: “Yes. You are an ambassador who stands in the ring. That’s why you have no choice but to accept this match.”>Sasadango: “So that’s why I got the offer to be PR ambassador.”>Misao: “And look at the opponents—Yuka Sakazaki and KONOSUKE TAKESHITA. Huge, huge names. Another reason for your frustration is that you’re not getting enough stimulation! Not enough stimulation.
>>19756772>If we beat Sakazaki and TAKESHITA at Ryōgoku Kokugikan, that would shake the entire pro-wrestling world!”>Sasadango: “That really is PR.”>Misao: “And if we win, belonging to Tokyo Joshi Pro, DDT Pro-Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and AEW—four promotions—won’t just be a dream!”>Sasadango: “We might stand at the center of four major promotions!”>Misao: “You’re already wearing so many hats that it’s not stimulating enough anymore. You need to carry more and more if you want that stimulation! Let’s work hard to belong to four promotions!”>Sasadango: “It might actually be the perfect chance to unleash my overflowing, still-unshown hidden potential against Yuka Sakazaki and KONOSUKE TAKESHITA.”>Misao: “They’re the perfect opponents! If that’s decided, repeat after me.”>Sasadango: “Repeat after you?”>And so, prompted by Misao, Sasadango repeated: “I will defeat Yuka Sakazaki and Konosuke Takeshita at Ryōgoku Kokugikan in March!”>Then Misao added, “Aaaand—we’ll belong to four promotions!”>To that, Sasadango declared, “Four promotions… no! I’ll belong to all promotions!”>Finally, the two raised their voices together: “Hyper Misao! Super Sasadango Machine! We’re gonna do our best!”>Post-match comments:>Misao: “So, on March 29 at Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling’s Ryōgoku Kokugikan event, Hyper Misao and Super Sasadango Machine will team up to take on Yuka Sakazaki & KONOSUKE TAKESHITA!”>Sasadango: “That sounds really good.”>Misao: “Not just take them on—we’re going to win!”>Sasadango: “We’re going to win.”>Misao: “And we’re aiming to belong to Tokyo Joshi Pro, DDT Pro-Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and AEW—four promotions!”>Sasadango: “If anything, I want to belong to all promotions.”>Misao: “We’ll belong to promotions all over the world.”>Sasadango: “Ahhh, what should I do… I’ll be tied down by contracts.”
>[Post-match comments]>Yuki: I’m seriously sorry! I’m really, really sorry! It’s my fault—I couldn’t make it in time to save you at the end. Seriously.>Haru: But this isn’t really either of our faults.>Yuki: Yeah!>Haru: Neither of us did anything wrong, so… yeah…>Yuki: It’s so frustrating! We swore we’d win the tournament as Shunrai Rekka!! Prism Greed and get revenge on OberEats. I’m too frustrated to even put it into words, but Shioju was incredible. How long a tag team’s been together is important, but there are other factors too. No—let’s turn this frustration into our strength.>Haru: Yeah.>Yuki: Someone once said there’s no one who can beat an unbreakable heart.>Haru: Yeah.>Yuki: Our hearts won’t break!>Haru: They won’t!>Yuki: We’re definitely going to get even stronger from here on!>Haru: We will!>Yuki: Uta-Pyon, do your best!>Mizuki: Because Uta didn’t give up, I couldn’t give up either. That was crazy.>Uta: It really was.>Mizuki: I mean, it was YukiHaru, right? The previous challengers, YukiHaru.>Uta: They were so cool at Korakuen.>Mizuki: Right? Isn’t that wild?>Uta: Yeah, it is.>Mizuki: Since we’re here anyway, let’s make miracles happen for sure. Uta will definitely keep following me, and I’ll follow Uta too.>Uta: I really felt like the two of us became one. Like, two people can actually fuse into one.>Mizuki: Shakiin! (makes a “2” with her fingers)>Uta: Two! (makes a “2” with her fingers) One plus one equals one! (makes “1” with both hands) Huh?>Mizuki: That’s what it means, right? That’s what we’re saying, so yeah.>Uta: That’s what it is.>Uta: Next match too?>Mizuki: We’ll do our best!>Uta: We’ll do our best.>—Your semifinal opponents will be Dejimon.>Mizuki: That’s intense. I mean…>Uta: My head’s full already.>Mizuki: Uta will do her best.>Uta: We'll do our best—as one.
>>19756792>Arisu: Yay!>Suzume: Yay!>Arisu: We got through the first round! We won clean. We won clean over K!SS//.>Suzume: We won clean.>Arisu: You know, I want to see that view again.>Suzume: Yeah. I’ll never forget it—let’s go get that huge trophy again.>Arisu: We’re definitely getting it.>Suzume: We’ve each worked really hard toward the end, then regrouped, and now I feel incredibly confident in us. We’re going to sprint all the way to the top.>Arisu: All the way. Watch us.>—You beat the tag champions. What about that?>Arisu: That means we have to challenge, right?>Suzume: We have to, right?>Arisu: Doesn’t that mean we have to go to Thailand?>Suzume: I want to go.>Arisu: I want to go.>Suzume: I want to go.>Arisu: I want to go to Thailand.>Suzume: But is it already decided?>Arisu: Oh, it is? I see.>Suzume: Please make sure you defend the belts. Yes.>—Your next opponents are Mizuki’s team.>Arisu: They’ve got insane momentum, right?>Suzume: From the moment the tournament bracket was announced, I thought there were so many really interesting teams. I’m super excited to finally face them.>Arisu: I’d wanted to fight them. There are lots of teams I want to face, but they were one I was especially curious about, so I’m really happy we get to meet them in the semifinals.>Suzume: I’m happy.>Arisu: We’re going to win, though.>Suzume: I’m also really excited to face Mizuki again in a tag match as Dejimon.>Toribami: I’m sorry…>Yamashita: No, it’s not something to apologize for.>Toribami: I was fully planning on winning the whole thing and beating Dejimon, but losing that kick exchange to Arisu is what hurts the most.>Yamashita: But a tag loss is on both of us. Still… Dejimon was strong.>Toribami:They really were.>Yamashita: Our team still has a lot ahead of us, and Toribami’s intensity is there too—but we did beat Kyoraku Kyomei and we have these belts.
>>19756818>Toribami:I fought with the mindset of carving our own path, but we lost in the second round… It’s incredibly frustrating.>Yamashita: But we can only keep moving forward. And we still have this (the SETUP Tag Belts). At the end of February we’re going back to Thailand to defend them. Today’s loss really shocked me. There’s a lot to think about, but all we can do is get stronger.>Toribami:We’ll beat our opponents and defend these belts.>Yamashita: And then let Dejimon challenge us after we defend. That works, right?>Toribami:That sounds good.>Yamashita: I just came up with a great idea. We go to Thailand at the end of February, defend the belts, call out Dejimon in Thailand—and pay them back for today’s loss.>Toribami:Let’s get our revenge.>Yamashita: Our next goal is set. We’ll do our best.>Miu: I’m completely beat up.>Rika: Totally flattened.>Miu: We got flattened. What was that? Pom Max.>Rika: Body and soul… well, my heart isn’t crushed. I’m somehow still alive.>Miu: That’s good. Even if we’re flattened.>Rika: As long as we’re alive, it’s all good~.>Miu: Good.>Rika: We’ve teamed as Daydream for several years now, and I kind of wanted to set another record around now.>Miu: A new one.>Rika: That’s why this hurts. I really wanted to win something like a “Pro Wrestling Tag Team Award.”>Miu: Me too! Our names should be up there!>Rika: Exactly! I’m still aiming for it. I’ll keep working hard as a tag wrestler and as a singles wrestler too. After all, I’m also the 3-Way God. I’m thinking of becoming the god of everything.>Miu: Huh? You’re going to be the god of everything?>Rika: Yes! I’m going to become a dragon god.>Miu: A dragon god?>Rika: I’m aiming to be a dragon god. You’re a champion and a princess, right, Uta?>Miu: That’s right.>Rika: Since you’re a princess, I’ll become a god.>Miu: Amazing! You’re divine today too!>Rika: I am!>Miu: What even is this?>Rika: Do your best—fighting!
>>19756820>Pom: We won! We won! We won! We made the best four—this is crazy. We beat Daydream. That was seriously intense. That weird U-shaped stick thing came out and everything.>Impaler: Ugaaa!>Pom: She’s angry! See? Did you hear that, Daydream? She’s mad. But we won. Next up, it looks like Ober Eats. But you know, we beat them last year. That means this is basically a guaranteed win, right?>Impaler: Ugaaa!!>Pom: Then we’re absolutely winning the whole thing!>Kamifuku collapsed when the announcement was made that they would face Impaler and Pom in the semi-finals. After the match, Ober Eats took the mic.>Uehara: “We won! Yes! We did it!”>Kamifuku: “We won.”>Uehara: “Yes! I’m so happy. I’ve got the belt now, and honestly I’m feeling really greedy.”>Kamifuku: “Yeah.”>Uehara: “I want to win the trophy together with you, Kamifuku-san.”>Kamifuku: “I want it too.”>Uehara: “I really want it. Don’t you really want to win the trophy?”>Kamifuku: “Yeah.”>Uehara: “You want to win it, right?”>Kamifuku: “I do, I do.”>Uehara: “Um, this is something I just realized… Kamifuku-san kind of gives off the vibe that you’re not really interested in belts or trophies, but actually you’re really hungry, aren’t you? You really, really want to win this tournament, right?”>Kamifuku: “No, Wakana. You see, a woman doesn’t go around blabbing things like ‘I’ll do my best!’ or ‘I’m going to win!’ She shows it silently with her back.” (applause from the crowd) “So I’m not going to say anything. And for this segment, you wrap it up.”>Uehara: “Okay, so showing it with your back means…”>Kamifuku: “Don’t dig into it.”>Uehara: “It means we’re aiming to win together, right?”>Kamifuku: “Don’t dig.”>Uehara: “Yes! Then in this tournament, Ober Eats will deliver the victory!”>Kamifuku: Yeah, we did well.>Uehara: We won!>Kamifuku: Seriously.>Uehara: Yay!>Kamifuku: I was surprised.>Uehara: I’m so happy.
>>19756826>Kamifuku: But next up, one of them isn’t even human anymore, right? Pom and Impaler are coming.>Uehara: Huh? Last year?>Kamifuku: We got ripped apart last year!>Uehara: We lost.>Kamifuku: “Ripped apart,” I’m telling you. Yeah—ripped apart. So this time, we have to make sure neither our hearts nor our outfits get torn up. And you—you talk way too much nonsense in the ring. You get that? Sometimes a woman has to speak with her back. And sometimes, when she doesn’t need to speak— (grabs Uehara in a choke) Don’t laugh!>Uehara: I’m sorry! I’m sorry!>Kamifuku: Sometimes a woman has to show it with her back.>Uehara: Yes.>Kamifuku: (both turn their backs) From here on, we’re going to keep advancing through the tournament.>Uehara: Yes—by showing it with our backs.>Kamifuku: We’ll speak with our backs. Let Wakana close it out with our determination.>Uehara: Yes. I already got your verbal commitment earlier, so Ober Eats will deliver the tournament victory! (turns around)>Kamifuku: So in the end, it’s not about the back at all, huh.>Uehara: Ah—>Ashida: I’m so frustrated…>Arai: Second-round loss. That hurts.>Ashida: Honestly, if we’d won today, I was planning to announce the official name of the Kyoto Tag. I thought really hard about it. I even came up with a theme song.>Arai: You even made a theme song?>Ashida: I even wrote lyrics.>Arai: You wrote lyrics too? No way!?>Ashida: And I couldn’t share it with anyone. That part hurts too.>Arai: Yeah… you did show me some of the tag name candidates briefly.>Ashida: Were they bad?>Arai: I was just happy that your thinking time has increased so much. (laughs)>Ashida: So… all rejected.>Arai: Let’s start over, Mifu.>Ashida: Yes.
>>19756834>Arai: But of course I was imagining us winning as the Kyoto Tag, and I still wanted to keep fighting together. It’s disappointing, but I was really happy to fight alongside you this time. We got through the first round and made it to the second. Before our next revenge attempt, we’ll get even stronger— and polish your tag-name sense too. (laughs)>Ashida: That part too!>Arai: Let’s go. Let’s keep fighting together for a long time.>—Could you share one line from the lyrics?>Arai: The best part.>Ashida: The best part? Geez… okay, hold on. This is kind of emotionally dangerous—are you sure? “Arai-san, I love you! Let’s do our best even more!”>Arai: …That was close today. Really close. I’m glad you didn’t release that today.>Ashida: You’re glad I didn’t?>Arai: Thank you.>Ashida: My love runs deep.>Arai: I’m happy about that.>Ashida: The song gets even deeper, you know.>Arai: Seriously? I’m… looking forward to it. (wry smile)
Genuine question as outsider, not trolling.TJPW used to collab with DDT more, interacting with their whole roster so why in the last years, the rare time they remember they are DDT sister promotion hey only call the comedy acts? Is because of the public?

We need stables. Not for TJPW, but for this thread. Which stable are you in?

Since anons are talking about stables in a positive light, its time to drop this again. Just give me your honest opinion, these teams are pretty great right? Like I really put some effort in this.
Here we go again.

In all seriousness, Konatsu Ren has yet to leave an impression on me. This does not mean she is bad, but she is fairly new and learning still. I remember it took about 8 months before I realized Chika had actually become good. Also for the record Moka went her entire career and graduated before leaving an impression on me.

>Good morning! Actually, I injured my fingertip about 3 days ago. Everyone, please be careful when handling knives... Have a great day today too
>>19760393She's much better than Chika was at this point in her career. She tried to do some flippy shit, kept bailing, so she smartly shelved it/saved it for bigger matches. Now she pops the crowd with something as simple as that up and over sunset flip out of the corner.I like the sheep dolls gimmick, and at worst she's just competent and solid. I never dread her matches. The bar on tjpw rookies is raised now. They all debut pretty good.
>>19760627haha classic tard-chan
>>19760433Mirai/Sara vs Chika/Toga has the potential to be bowling shoe ugly.
>>19760640True
>>19760433Eliminated team and Shoko vs eliminated team and Arai. Eliminated team and Ren vs Eliminated team and Mahiro.Seeing a pattern here.I'm glad Shion is getting another singles. First Haru and now Hima. We get to hear her music again. And Himawari gets a win. She's good, I'm excited to see what she and Shion can do together.
What's the deal when people like Sara come in for a few weeks? Does CF pay for a hotel or do they shack up with one of the players (probably Raku)? Do they get a meal stipend?
>>19760642It might be completely fine, but it has the ingredients of a sloppy match. Toga is in there. Chika is in there. Sara gets a minor pass, she doesn't speak the language of know these people well. Mirai is there.I hope to be pleasantly surprised.
>>19760655they at least get their hotel paid for
>>19760504>>19760564You're the reason there's 5000 interchangeable flippy shitters in every promotion.
>>19760405>>19760413koda fumbled nbg’s last run
>>19760658I like flippy shit
>>19760658Ren isn't one of them, though. Stop getting mad at wider industry trends. Also casuals love flippy shit and other athletic feats.
>>19760658well what impresses you? her intricate character work and storytelling? her 33 pound head?
>>19760657Wonder if it's a nice hotel or just a business hotel. Also seems like a waste if they are staying and paying for a hotel they don't use, like when Zara Zakher stayed for a month and worked TJPW shows outside of Tokyo where they all stayed the night. Maybe Max or other longer stay people prefer a short term rental/Airbnb type thing where they can buy groceries and live freely. I don't know if CF has a dorm. Stardom famously had a dorm for foreigners. Marvelous has some sort of living arrangement in Chiba for their visitors.
>>19760665Wow that explains all of the casual wrestling fans. Oh wait they're all repulsive lifers who will golf clap for the dive to the outside they've seen 10,000 times before.
except it does have way more casual fans than most promotions but you'd have to actually watch to know that
>>19760686I've been to Mexico City. Casuals love flips. I've also been to wrestling shows with people who don't usually watch wrestling. The stuff that always gets a reaction and makes an impression is the comedy and athletics.
>>19760691That's because TJPW isn't inundated with interchangeable flippy shitters, most of the roster comes across as unique and likeable.
