>AHHH NOOOO PLEASE DON'T BEND MY LEG IN THE INTENDED DIRECTION
Swerve's finish off of the corner is terrible. He's got so much going for him, but that finisher is ass.
>>19762092Brock did it way better
>>19762092>e tards dont understand how joints work
>>19762125thank you doctor bitchtits
>>19762092Old School still sucks ass and doesn't comform with logic. It pulls me out of the willing suspension of disbelief. Just pull the nigga down, kick the rope, he dead for shoot.
>>19762092Do you know how pivots work? It's one thing I know you third worlders struggle with
>>19762134Taker is such a mark that he wanted to do acrobatics too.
Boston Crab of course. It doesn't look painful.
>>19762092in a world where everyone is now familiar with MMA i find most submission shitty looking. especially sharpshooters where they just bend their knees a bit
>>19762216its a legit move though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMMigjW3q78
>>19762240Even Benoit's Crippler Crossface is legit. Look at the ending of Conor vs Khabib. That shit will break your jaw. There was even a video where a fighter's upper jaw caved because he didn't tap.
>>19762216You have to be kidding.
>>19762216did you never wrestle with friends as a kid? crabs hurt like a motherfucker unless you're a gymnast or yoga freak and even then
>>19762232Yes, pro wrestling doesn't know how submission moves work. They think it's just a matter of whether you can stand the pain. In reality if you get caught in one it's basically over.
>>19762092the worst finisherhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYCkv5q4mqM
>>19762108>he’s got so much going for him
>>19762134The psychology is that Undertaker twisted his arm so his opponent is in pain and can't move the whole time. Today's wrestlers that do it miss that part, which is why their move looks stupid
>>19762821I know this already, and I agree with the principal, but it still looks stupid even when Undertaker did it. There ain't reason to walk the rope very very slowly.
>>19762134Mmmmm*walk the ropes*Kids these days...*sits up and no sells the whole match*should learn how to work.
>>19762134In the old days, they used to pull him down if it was early in the match and they weren't beat down enough and then he would be able to hit it when he tried later near the end.
>>19762991Mmmm get this man a bottle of jack
Taker is supposed to be a supernatural being. The rope walk is le magic meme move. It’s not rocket science.
>>19762240that was a legitimate straight ankle just from a position nobody stepping into the cage ever shouldve allowed themselves to be found in, not whatever the hell jericho does
>>19762134The People’s Elbow and The Worm are also stupid because if the guy is down that long then why not just pin them? But guess what? When you’re that level over you can get away with it.
>>19762821Even with Taker plenty of people didn't bother to sell the wrist
>>19763154It's called showmanship you goof
>>19763160Modern wrestlers are just ass. like him or not. Bret needs to teach wrestling psychology class at the PC or somewhere. no one knows basic shit anymore
>>19763154>The Worm [is] also stupid>he doesnt know
Bandido is awesome and I think you can make the move work sometimes, but the 21 Plex as his every match finisher is fucking terrible. There's nothing wrong with "Move+theatrics", but when the theatrics involves your opponent staying in a weird, forced position for seconds at a time? That shit sucks. Alberto Del Reio's jumping stomp move had the same issue.
>>19763384I think someone should tell Bandido to tell people to go to the "619" position, he can deadlift german them from that position anyway and at least it looks less fake
>>19762814It's just ugly, that's the main issue. We all know Bad News Brown was a shoot tough guy, and we all know that "Ghetto Blaster" is a top tier name for a move. But he didn't have the execution for it. Owen Hart's enziguri looked a million times better because Owen Hart was a million times better
>>19763384Yeah this is awful, keeps me from enjoying him
>>19763419>>19763396Every so often you see a situation where it feels natural, and it's awesome in those cases.
>>19763433Also, if he did a gutwrench awesome bomb here it would've been really cool
>>19763433Not really, the convoluted set up for the GTS was retarded too
>>19763433I think it just shows most of the people taking the move are simply bad compared to Mortos, who sold being on the ropes, looked behind him just in time to move and put his hands on the ropes. That's how the move should always be taken, even without the weird GTS setup. Mortos is based.
>>19763384>>19763433>we have to flippy-fy a damn German suplexNo matter what setup, the convoluted half flip on top of the guy for "momentum" is just unfitting. Also no one posted Mercedes' weird ass finisher yet, you know the one. Has an incredibly awkward setup and most times an even worse execution
>>19763384If I was his opponent I would simply not hold the ropes while bent over.
>>19763433>dumb setup just to do a normal gts>dumb setup just to do an average germanlucha was a mistake
