26 years later, what are your honest thoughts on Ready To Rumble?
I thought it was a comedy classic with how many times TBS played it alongside Little NickyTurns out both movies are considered really bad.
It's amusing.
>here's your hogan-tier babyface you dumb fucking marks
>>19786076>I thought it was a comedy classicIt is, anon.>>19786109King is king.
>>19786109would let this nigga crown me
>>19786042It’s a really bad movie.
>>19786042This was a really fun movie and I always enjoyed it.
>>19786042Baseketball is better
>>19786109IWILL RULE YOU
>>19786409I enjoy it for the historical significance but it is quite bad and unfunny imo.
My stepdad who called me a fag for watching wrestling loved it.
>>19786629my uncle fucking loves this movie and was never really into wrestlinghe has really shit taste in movies
haven't watched this movie in easily 23 years and i still remember huge portions of it. when the girl mounts him and he yells foreign objects is a highlight
Sal Bandini would have tied that fake shitter Stu Hart into a pretzel.
>>19786109Wasn’t this character just a Ric Flair insert?
in this movie, is wrestling real?
>>19786772No but the babyface gets shot on and forced out the company and that's the impetus for the plot
>>19786629he was negging you
I gotta go, my dad said posting on /pw/ is for pussies
>>19786765Don't you mean Lawler? Or wait. Ric Flair makes sense with the drinking I guess.

Never seen the movie but I saw on DDP's Youshoot that his personal idea how to end the movie was to reveal that all the wrestlers (including Jimmy King) had worked everyone else in a very elaborate storyline for an episode of Nitro or something.
>>19786996kek that would have been kino.
First 'so bad it's good' movie I've ever saw. It's pretty comfy too. Idk how to describe why I feel relax watching it.
I like it. It's not a good movie by most metrics. But it's watchable, pretty quotable. It's a fascinating relic from a great era of wrestling. Hell of a lot better than No Holds Barred if nothing else.
>>19786947chills....

Lol I had a pretty positive memory of this movie for 20 years til I showed it to the wife last month. Not quite as funny as I remembered but the action was good and it was cool to see WCW again.Still better than WWF's movies.
shameless self bump
Loved it as a kid. I still to this day don't hate it but wouldn't recommend it so someone who doesn't like wrestling
>>19786042masterpiece, a friend and I would repeatedly watch it at the dollar show the summer it came out and had to listen to Smooth by Santana looped for a half an hour over trivia questions before the movie started each time
>>19787097are you fluent?
Was it really 'disrespectful' to wrestling fans as some have claimed?
>>19786076based little nicky enjoyer
>>19787890i also quite enjoyed that movie as a childi should rewatch it desu
>>19787859Yes, in this movie, wrestling fans are portrayed as the biggest losers possible. They're stupid, unemployable, complete marks, obsessed with shit (literally, as in feces), gross and disgusting. The lowest of the low.So its basically /pw/ the movie
>>19787895Is that game any good?
>>19787974afraid not
>>19786629Well he caught you jacking off to the wrestlers so he was right.
HE'LL RULE THAT ASS
>>19786042Enjoyable fun movie. Definitely not a great movie but you're not supposed to take it seriously. Probably why smarks have been shitting on it for so long.
>>19786996That's been my headcannon for years wtf
>>19786786you’re a negger.
>>19787682When Cena was still larping as Jack from Tekken
>>19786042cheesy af, but still better than anything WWE studios ever put out.
>>19786042I'm still not sure. Ask me again in 26 years please
>>19786996that would be a very wcw ending
>>19787682How did Cena end up in the WCW movie when at this time he was training in UPW, which was a WWF developmental affiliate at the time?
>>19790878he's a dude in the background he doesn't have lines or anything
>>19786042Why didn't Kevin Nash show up?
I have a WWKD tattoo. I fucking love this movie
