So I finally checked out Russo's JCW. Someone is definitely being paid to shill it here, but it's working.

JCW is basically a dream world for Russo. He finally gets his hillbillies, clowns and pornstars to work with and he gets to do it at a place where trash is celebrated.

The show really does follow typical Russo shows and is honestly just Attitude Era WWF and TNA Weekly PPV era shows with new characters. There's a lot of things going on. There's tons of stuff happening for shock value. And good or bad, a Vince Russo Show is never boring and never leaves you without anything to talk about.

Where Russo always fails is that he has too much going on, he loses track of it and the show stops making sense. I haven't gotten to that part yet, but it's probably coming.

Everyone really should check one of these shows out. If you want pure wrestling and 5 star matches, this isn't it. But if you want the chaos, the wacky characters and more storyline focused shows, it will interest you.

So where's their Austin?

Caleb Konley, I guess?

Dude's pushing 40 and is a literal who

It is pretty fun. Even stripping away the goofy stuff, you have angles and characters and stories throughout the show, often times a running thread throughout the night. Things go week to week and make sense, build up to get you more excited for next time. It feels like WWE just doesn't do any of that anymore.

Kokaine is probably their Austin right now.

i watch JCW on YouTube, it's pretty good. way better than WWE at least.
>>
The only negative i'd say about it is the TNA rejects getting a bit of a spotlight, but it's nowhere near as bad as MLW with the WWE rejects and it's also slightly better than how TNA rejects are highlighted in NWA.

This is fair. WWE gets a lot of shit right now for not moving on past the 40 or even 50 year olds yet JCW's big players are Russo and his friends.

I think scheduling and willingness to commit are fundamental in dictating who Russo can use. Vince probably feels a lot more confident writing for a James Storm or Anderson if they say they're going to be there for him.

This faggot shit is astroturfed harder than AEW was in 2020

It is 100% Jeff shilling it here. He had a story about Nick LiPicollo’s melty.
>>
>>19818918
Jeff is too much of a boomer to work out how to make a thread
>>
>>19818685
Yeah and it'll only get better
>>

People are shilling it but I am 100% not involved. I just checked it out to see if they were bluffing. I was pretty critical of the first run of Lunacy eps.

These are typical Russo style shows in an environment where stuff like hillbillies, pornstars and goofy gimmicks are the norm. There's lots of things going on and lots of sleaze, but it's JCW. Russo's not turning some legendary promotion into a clown show, he's literally booking a clown show. If you want a show focused around great matches or preserving the tradition of wrestling, this isn't it. If you want to see a 2026 Attitude Era clone with no shame, this is for you.

it's not even entertaining dumb chaos like hoodslam
>>
>>19818685
oh yeah? you want me to watch JCW yeah? want me to go over to the ol' youtube and load up an episode huh? you'd like that would you? yeah?
>>
>>19818685
OK fine. What episode do I start at for the Russo arc? 56?
>>
>>19819329
Yeah that's the first ep Russo was fully involved I think
>>
>>19819336
OK i checked it out and I'm not really seeing the appeal. The wrestling was pretty bad although I thought the Zombies were surprisingly good as was there manager, and the backstage skits weren't much. But yknow desu when that transvestite Big Vito started throwing his weight around at the end of the show I suppose i was kinda intrigued to see where it goes. I'll try one more episode.
