Decided to rewatch Konami vs. Rina and I'm so happy that I did.

I loved watching it live, but seeing it back a few weeks later just gave me a better appreciation for it all around. Rina is one of the best big match wrestlers in wrestling right now, and I'd fight that she's the best in STARDOM at this very moment -- at least in the conversation.

Despite being a heel for so long, it's her ability to switch the babyface style on that sets her apart in these championship matches. I don't know when it's going to happen, but she needs to be holding the Wonder or even World of Stardom Title sooner rather than later. I do have extreme bias, but she's just proving time and time again that she's ready for it. Make her the leader of H.A.T.E., too.

This isn't just a "Rina is amazing" post, though, as I believe this was the best outing from Konami since her full-time return to the ring. And it isn't surprising considering how important of a match this was for each of them.

Winning the Wonder of Stardom Championship has re-inspired her in the best ways, and this match was what I believe she can be at her best as a heel. Her striking game has long been there, but it feels she is using it to her full advantage, finally. There are moments in this match where she just feels like an absolute destroyer, and it leads so well to her ultimately putting Rina out in the closing minutes to win. I didn't know how to feel when she won the belt, but she's doing a good job in the heel champion role -- here's to it continuing this weekend.

All in all, just a fantastic Wonder of Stardom Championship match that will be hard to top this year. Rina had the best White Belt match in 2025, and it could be true for 2026 too.

Fantastic match and performance from each of them.
