I like that Cody keeps pushing to bring house shows back. House shows are more fun to go to than Raw or SmackDown tapings.
>>19841933Why would they need more house shows to risk getting injured at
>>19841936For the fans
like this queen would even show up to work them baka
>>19841946He was regularly doing house shows back when it was a regular thing, going to all the small towns.
It makes complete sense to do them. More shows means more experience. It means being able to nail a move or sequence multiple times before a TV or PLE show. It means getting comfortable in front of crowds, learning how to interact and work them. House shows let the boys and girls hang out more, become better friends or even rivals, making them better workers and having more investment in their work.>>19841936WWE has never had such a lax schedule yet they have shitloads of injuries.
>>19841958No lies detected.
>>19841936Because they're getting injured more now due to the fact that their bodies don't get conditioned to the bumps as well when they only wrestle maybe once a week or two?
>>19841933i would agree only problem is every time they do them now we get retarded clips like gunther doing the 67
>>19841946He was at my house show and he spent a good half hour after the show taking pics and signing things
>>19841933The time to do house shows was three years ago when the shit was hot. It's over now.
>>19842553Oh yeah, when I went to a house show he was in the last match before intermission, and he was out there for so long during intermission talking to people and signing their stuff it was like a free meet and greet for the people on the floor. Bianca took time after her match to take a picture with everybody who wanted one as well.
just cause the fotc says something doesn't mean it'll happen, he also wanted to change the strap back to the winged eagle full time and the ko feud was their compromise
i seriously doubt Cody is all for bringing back house shows, since he loves taking time off and never being here, just like Roman Reigns, AJ Lee, Michin, R-Truth and Stephanie Vaquer are now. at least R-Truth has the excuse of being too old to have matches, what's the others' excuse?
>>19842790He's mentioned multiple times on his podcast that he wants to bring back house shows.
>>19841941Yeah house shows used to be like 20 or 30 bucks, when WWE came to my town post Vince they wanted 80 bucks after fees for dogshit tickets
>>19842441That's not how it works. Wrestling more than 1-2 days a week really adds up. House shows mean more travel and less rest and recovery. It's good for live experience, but because WWE ignores the crowd during their TV shows idk how much it would matter.Being conditioned for bumping just requires wrestling once a week or a few times a month. They avoid bumps as much as possible during the house shows, but it's still a lot on the body.
>>19843159WWE has a locker room culture of being so super lazy they prioritize partying over their job occupation (wrestling). The fact they got rid of house shows just made them even more lazy, hence why they get injured more because none of them take the time to give a shit about the art form of wrestling, let alone give a shit about perfecting their craft.
The last house show I went to the card was >Cody vs. Finn>Seth vs. Priest>Usos vs. Owens and Zayn>Gunther vs. Nakamura>Sheamus vs. Theory>Bobbo vs. Killer Kross>Rey vs. DomThat's legitimately a better time than you'd have on the majority of RAW/Smackdown episodes these days.
>>19841933YOUJUSTGOTTA
>>19843206I think it was during the Cody and Cena podcast they said that another good thing about house shows is it filters out the people who don't want to be there.
>>19843230When they last came near me in 2023:>Kevin Owens vs Jimmy Uso>LA Knight vs Grayson Waller>Becky Lynch vs Zoey Stark>Gunther vs Sami>Cody vs Miz>Jey Uso vs Dominik Mysterio>Iyo vs Bianca vs Charlotte>Drew vs SethAnd yeah, I had a better time than when I went to a tv taping later.
