Insider here, Omega is looking to jump ship to WWE. Expect the announcement soon
>>
>>19842173
You mean jump ship to NXT.
>>
good thing i stopped watching
>>
>>19842173
Tony will have a coronary if this happens
>>
>>19844824
which is why anyone that has ever sniffed the inside of law college lecture hall in Jacksonville is looking for a way to push this thru
>>
>>19842173
No Buddy???
>>
>>19842173
Not even kidding when I say we don't want him
>>
>>19845575
I don't watch WWE or AEW but why would you want him.
He's a shadow of himself, would never be allowed to work the style that defined him, has zero aura left, and is awkward as hell on the mic.
>>
>>19845585
This is exactly why I wouldn't want him. 10 years ago? Sure. 5 even? Why not. But at this point he has so little left to offer to wrestling. His body is broken down so he can't work like he used to which was his biggest selling point. His promos fucking suck ass. He has no actual character or gimmick to do anything interesting with. If he went to WWE now he'd just be a part timer at best. He's very much put himself in a Sting situation

>on the contrary:
1.better than ever but usual has lesser dance partners
2. the whole industry is now in his style since after changing the world in 2016
3. Cleaner still historic while not being a self-mark and taking subdued booking to generously give the new gen the spotlight or his shine would be too bright
4. not everyone can handle the intricacies of a self-mastered bilingual vocabulary

based time travelling anon from 2019

NXT is WWE, Anon.

an employer is allowed to release from a former agreement if the right incentive to do so is provided, this is applicable in the current year of our lord
>>

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a hater. He got me back into wrestling after fifteen years or so away.
You're right that he can go selectively. He's put on some good shows in Japan since leaving. I just don't know if he'd be able to establish himself to WWE audiences that aren't familiar with him already.

Sting wasn't as fucked up when he got to WWE as Kenny is now, he was just old, but he could still go. Which reminds me...

Thanks HHH, you roid huffing faggot.

since you're smart to the business friend, to come clean the original post is in line with reality. The response is a continued meme effort to try and soften the blow that Tony tricked Kenny and all of us that he would pull off an "'orginial' ROH/NJPW but on national primetime" but of course it turned out to be a Tiny Con. sending out strongstyle energy though in the struggle for the future because it can change on a whim still; with the backing of billions of dollars put to the proper purpose this time only requiring, in theory, a single 'man'child to get as little as merely the inkling of a clue.
>>
>>19845729
It's interesting you put it that way. The promise of "Prime Time Kenny" was the only thing AEW had going for it in the beginning. I remember my hopes that it would be like a "fresher" prime WCW, with the Cleaner as the face of it all.
Lost all interest when it rapidly became apparent that it was what it ended up becoming. In hindsight, it should have been obvious early on with the little bits of goofiness there were allowed to shine through here and there but they were so easy to dismiss in the beginning because everyone had rose colored sunglasses on.
>>
Too late for that. He should have jumped over during peak cleaner anime bad-guy gimmick. Him going now with his body gone to shit and with a gimmick of 'I m very good at wrestling' doesn't work when WWE is already filled with them.
>>

stop my heart cant take it, and not in the 'beat our developmental' paul way, or in the bret and anvil way, or neither the ciampa nor gargano way, maybe as in the moniker hbk way without the k
only broken but then this whole thing is falling flat, forget it im not crying theres no crying

Few things in wrestling have pissed me off the way Kenny's 2019 did. You don't take someone who has buzz and garners attention from everyone in the industry, when you're launching the first major arena/network TV rival to WWE in 18 years, and book a story that literally is "Yeah this hot new alternative promotion headed by the most raved about guy outside of WWE? Oops he's actually burned out and washed up and not what he was". You're shouting to the world that your top pickup is past his prime, jobbing him to an ex WWE lowercarder in Pac, and catering exclusively to "will always watch regardless" hardcore consumers of ALL content.

and that was awesome, and Tone's intention can be given good faith; but yeah the reality was the legendary success (which whether far flung or not truly seemed possible) needed to dislodge the E's monopoly, let alone reacquaint wrasslin with portions of the mainstream, in waging a war never materialized. May we say it was due to intellectual mistakes and not furnishing effort. Both reasons though operate from the minds of men and men might change their ways.

Same. I was excited for AEW. I watched that first year and burned out in it in 2020. Gave it another chance after things started reopening post-pandemic but it just led to more disappointment.
All I was left with was a worse NJPW. I'm no fan of WWE but I hold a special loathing for AEW for what it did to the company I did enjoy watching. Now I can only enjoy it here and there and it's only a shadow of what drew me back.

What is the legendary superstar Oldsmobile Finale doing in the Monday Night Raw zone!?!?
