I was watching some clips from Punk's Collision and man, what went so fucking wrong with this show? Why couldn't they keep the stage, presentation and regular wrestlers on it? This was The 2nd show, not just a glorified Dark show.
Sorry no one here watched it, can't comment
>>19848519Tiny has an intransigence, perhaps from self loathing, where in most cases if something is already based (or the rare he actually pulls something off) his generational delusion cannot recognize this blink of quality after being trained with constantly existing immersed in the slop called his life. So he therefore wrongly views all situations as needing him to 'do something' in order to 'fix' it, which he fallaciously follows as an all or nothing when needles-in-a-haystack do happen but fumbles this sabotaging himself
>>19849210So AEW is the MySpace of wrestling?
Buddy :(
>>19849210phrased a little differently, Tony hates when anything other than in-ring work gets over. Entrances, crowd chants, set designs, promos, interviews, catch phrases, taunts, managers, announcers, he hates all of it and does everything he can to systematically undermine it.Tony cares about two things only:- in ring wrestling- glorifying the name AEWThat's it. That's why the emphasis of 90% of stories is fighting for the honor of AEW by being the best wrestler. Any heel in the company, no matter how much wicked shit they've done, can flip the switch with one lone promo proclaiming they're fighting for the honor of AEW professional wrestling."And then the bell rings" isn't just some sparky shit said on X, it's the entire ethos of everything Tony stands for. It's why Collision today is about as close as you can get to a VHS tape of matches with all the entrances, promos, everything stripped out. The bare minimum stuff is only included so the show doesn't completely fall off a cliff and get cancelled, he'd get rid of it all if he could.>I am the genius>I am the hero of wrestling>Behold, the toys in my toy box>Revel in the wrestling matches I present for your enjoyment>You're welcome
>>19849210>>19849338absolute TK derangement schizobabble
>>19849376Hunter you may not be an on-screen character as an off-screen on-screen booker monster heel; but there is plenty of work you should be doing, better make sure those contracts are watertight otherwise a flood of talent jumping ship is on the horizon-night TK
>>19849338thought bringing mold into the light was supposed to kill it, but it is so much more putrid when seen clearly
>>19848519They were still figuring out what they wanted it to be, other than using it to introduce Punk
>>19849035Literally kek. No waves I’m afraid.
