I said it in the other thread but this match was good and its just a throwaway Sunday Night Heat match. There is something seriously lacking and/or missing in today's wrestling.

Yeah, real wrestlers. All we get are indy geeks and trampoline kids.

Vulture capital replaced carney promoters in the office.
Theater queers replaced workers in the ring.
Reddit freaks replaced normies in the crowd.

All these ex-territory/early indie circuit guys had to make the rounds by wrestling up to twice a day in the middle of nowhere to a crowd who otherwise would not give a shit about them and barely knew who they were, and they had to get over in under 10 minutes. All they had to work with was a good sense of fundamentals and a character, they couldn't rely on spamming suicide dive to get a pop in case the crowd was quiet for example, it's all. And really it's just a matter of getting a shitton of reps in so you can start to truly internalize what makes something work. The fact that some of these wrestlers got on TV with barely 30 matches to their name explains a lot about their inability to improvise, with the current schedule not leaving a lot of room for learning the mechanics of working a crowd. There's a good reason why a lot of seasoned vets were calling for a return to the house show schedule of old because they know just how important it is to have a crop of talent who's experienced enough to make the best out of whatever they're given, instead of floundering around once the script/agent's directions isn't up to par.
That and I think the highly publicized world of indie wrestling now isn't doing the young guys any favors, because they already have a hype that they're buying into without facing enough adversity from apathetic flyover state crowds.
If you want more cool c-show matches, I personally really like Goldust vs Regal on Superstars, and the 2011 mini-feud between McIntyre and Chris Masters also on Superstars. Some neat simple & tight wrestling on those.

The change in the crowd demographic shifted the way the wrestlers worked way too dramatically, and people don't stress that point enough
