Miz debuted in WWE in 2006. He didn't get injured until 2021. That's 15 years straight of no injuries at all. How in the hell did he do that?
>>
>>19857538
By having a higher IQ than the smarks and the average wrestler
>>
Is the concussion he had in the WrestleMania main event with John Cena not an injury ?
>>
>>19857585
I mean I guess it is but he was only out for 2 weeks due to that.
>>
He works a super safe style
>>

Miz understands wrestling far better than the smarks that think you need to do a thousand moves a match and thinks everything needs to be a bangerino with no concern for the health of the people they’re watching
>>
>>19857538
It's kind of interesting. I feel like he was so bland that no one wanted to try and have a hard hitting match with him, and he himself has a really safe, boring style. Good on him. He's a strong enough heel on the mic to carry him.

do you have a hard time reading?
>>

He injured his opponents instead
>>
>Guy that works smart
Wow how he is injury free?

>this is the first thing that took him out
unfortunate

"Safestyle" has it's advantages. This might be a hard concept to some younger fans and smarks especially to understand but it's actually good way to get heat- problem is most of it's just heating someones keyboard and twitter timeline these days - the idea is that the heel is underhanded and not heroic so a 720 spinning backflip from the top rope from the heel takes the steam out of the baby faces dives and flips.
He's mostly been a heel and heels job isn't to dazzle you with flips, that's why he's kept most of his body intact. He just says he's never injured but in reality he's got a few minor injuries that they wrote off or rescheduled the matches so you wouldn't notice.

because every match he's ever had is cookie-cutter dog water wrestled in the safest, most bland style possible
>>
>>19857732
regrettable on every level

Miz was and still is very smart on how he works and his charisma gives him just enough ammo to stay employed. He can always get heat, always make a guy look good, always do the media and look good, do what the company wants and all while working a very safe style.
>>
>>19858030
he's bland shitter who should have never risen above curtain-jerker status
>>
>>19857985
>heels job isn't to dazzle you with flips
it literally is, havent you seen friction or flair or heenan bump
>>
>>19857585
He also got booted in the face once by Kofi which I think concussed him and maybe broke a tooth. Wrestlers are pretty loose with what they consider an "injury."
>>
>>19857538
Same way Jericho did.
>>
>>19859347
No, because Jericho was actually a great wrestler.

"Injury" in the professional wrestling context usually means something that require surgery.
>>
>>19859760
I'd say an injury is something that puts you on the bench for a month or more. Maybe 3 weeks I would count as an injury. But if it's a 2 weeks on the bench or less that's basically not an injury at all in pro wrestling world.
>>
>>19857538
i think it's as simple as miz never having had to slave on the indie circuit to get a contract. a lot of wrestlers come in to WWE with years of accumulated damage
>>
>>19857538
I dont remember one miz match in my life. just the one with shane mcmahon and snoop dogg.
>>
>>19857732
the big tall shitter is shit
>>
You'll appreciate guys like Miz, Orton, Cena etc. when you get older and see more and more stupid shit. Actual pro wrestlers. But for now all you clamour for in your youth is yummy car crash sawdust wrestling and that's ok, it's fun.
