Why did we accept commercials during matches on wrestling shows? I was watching AAA on Saturday and that show is so fucking good, and they don't have commercials during the matches. They have commercial breaks between segments, which is totally fine, but the matches are uninterrupted. That makes for such a better viewing experience. At the very least, all commercial breaks during a match should be Picture in Picture.

It's honestly a big part of why I only watch Japanese wrestling these days despite Japanese wrestling being in a bit of a slump.

Yeah, I'm totally fine with advertising. The commercials on PLEs don't bother me. I just don't want them during matches.

Don't get me wrong, I support advertising in principle, I'd just rather pay a few bucks not to deal with it and can afford to do so.

I agree. I paid for ad free Peacock, and I preferred getting video packages between matches instead of the ads I see now. But even still I accept it because I'm not missing parts of the matches. That's what really sucks.

growing up watching Raw and SD in the 90s / early 00s there were rarely ever commercials between matches. when I start watching in 2012 again they would split matches up with ads, now they'll even do entrances THEN an ad before the match even begins. when did this start in WWE?
