I feel like this is somewhat related but back when Kurt came back to the WWE after doing indy stuff for awhile he said he was feeling great and wanted to keep wrestling, but they put him in a managerial role for awhile and during that time his body started to fall out of the rhythm so when it was actually time for his retirement run he couldn't go like how he would've been able to do just a few years earlier. there's definitely a balance that can be struck between little to no house shows and 300 shows a year

Gives everyone 4 days off still, but still keeps them in ring shape year round. I know they lost money on them because of travel costs, but just run the next state over from where you did a show. Raw-travel-house show-4 days off

Bron is a WWE trained guy. Jevon was an indie shitter first. Dom was likely trained by Rey and WWE. Dom was out for a short while, Jevon was fine and Bron was just a freak occurrence. The Rock got a hernia wrestling Cena at WM29 and it was just taking a move, not flipping the announcer's desk which makes more sense.

The way I see it is if some people have the option between ~$400 just for tickets to take the family to RAW or ~$100 + travel to take the family to a houseshow somewhere within a reasonable distance they would take the houseshow. Now of course this doesn't apply to everyone, some people like the stuff that comes with TV tapings, the bigger feeling and such. But I think with complaints that do occasionally pop up about the shows being so expensive to go to this sentiment could grown amongst the fanbase if houseshows were ran more often.
