by 1992 you could get WWF tapes at retail stores for the usual $10-$20 like most tapes so
guessing WWF threw shit like this in the magazines to get some amount of orders for max profits upon release for certain tapes.
Also it was kind of hit or miss what tapes the stores by you might actually carry so I'm sure the autists who just had to have whatever would order this shit out of magazines the same way faggots order funko pops and other overpriced trash today. The items and ways to get them might change, but stupid people will always waste resources/money.
