Does anyone give a shit about this "rivalry?" Is there even any coherent overarching story between them or do they just keep getting booked against each other?

On paper, I understand why they're a thing. They're both young and talented and Tony clearly wanted to build AEW around them, but it just hasn't worked out like that. Max has managed to hang in there somehow even though he's kind of a dweeb and often gets overshadowed by the people he feuds with. But aside from the rare shining moment, the Hangman experiment has been a bust.

Just Tony things
