It aired on syndication on local channels for 4 seasons. Seasons 1-2 had a completely different roster than Season 3-4. Most of the Season 1-2 wrestlers left to form POWW, a couple stayed on and some retired. They did some house shows but they weren't a big hit. The show was taped at the Riveria in Las Vegas, which is now torn down. I went there a couple of times.They took girls who were trying to make it Hollywood and taught them to wrestle. They actually turned down female wrestlers who could wrestle.Everyone had gimmicks and their own rap song. The wrestling was not good and the girls were all limited. They also did skits between the matches. The skits were all knock knock jokes in different settings. The promoters weren't stupid. They gave most of the girls skimpy costumes and they did lots of close-up's. Dave McLane, one of the founders of GLOW, later formed POWW, WOW and then brought back WOW again, which is still airing currently. Wrestlelicious was a knockoff of it.Some of the girls ended up being decent. Ninotchka was okay in the ring, kind of pretty and was really good in her skits. Attache was good at bumping and was a bit of a workhorse. Spanish Red was pretty popular.The full series of episodes is not available anywhere and probably never will be. The one guy who had most of the episodes is a conman who owes tons of people money. GLOW had it's own documentary but McLane didn't appear on it and he never talks about GLOW.Smarks hated the promotion but I liked it. All the skits, rap songs and gimmicks gave the girls personalities and gave people various reasons to interact. You knew exactly who the girls were and what they were about within 30 seconds. It was ahead of its time in that regard.
